I have a 16-LED version and the only thing I don't like is it stays on all night in dim mode and attracts moths, which make it blink bright and dim all night.
I took mine apart and found a way to make it go OUT instead of dim:
on the small circuit board inside, there is a chip resistor labeled R6. It's soldered on the same tab as the black ""LED" wire is attached. It can be removed by unsoldering, OR, it can easily be crushed with a small pair of diagonal cutters or needle nose pliers. PRESTO! A solar light that comes on BRIGHT when it detects motion in the dark and goes OFF after a few minutes. All these lights seem to provide the unwanted "dim" function, and this makes a much more useful light.
mine doesn't stay on all night... dies in like 3-4hours... turning of the DIM would save battery. Thanks!

They sent me one. They are handy lights. The thing stays in dim mode all night long. I with there was an option to not have it in dim mode and just go to bright mode when motion is detected.

+Rami Fef I still have mine outside and it worked all winter long and even at -10 degrees F. I'm pretty happy with it.

You didn't show how it lights up the ground. It's like reviewing a flashlight and only having the camera look directly into the flashlight beam instead of showing how the flashlight beam lights up what it is pointed to.

Winter light in the UK may not be enough to charge the unit.
Once when doing my dollar General shopping trip Ispied a 4 LED version of this for $28 in the as seen on TV section.Looking like it could something I could use I put one in the cart. When I was in the light bulbs area I seen a similar ptouct for $5, so I grab a couple of those and put the more expensive one bac.. Other than he number of LEDs the only difference I can see betwen this and the ones I have is mine have a slide switch on the bottom of the enclosure. coverage is good enough fore wide need illuminates the steps and landing at the doorway. turns of from idle to full on as soon as it sees the storm door.otherwise when I approach it while walking it will go from idle to full on at ~20 Ft. away.

I like these lights but i bought them from Home Depot for $10 each but they only last a year at best and the batter isn’t replaceable

I bought these for my daughter's house, particularly the garage and patio area, you can adjust the light to stay on in dim mode at all times and when something is motioned it goes into bright mode, the light gives off great light distribution and great brightness.

Nice video but, you need to install it lower. Right now, your Sheds bottom panel is blocking the solar light.
When they stop working how do u change the battery? Mine sats capacity 3.7V 2200mAh battery but what comes up isnt wha it has.

How well has it performed in the winter, especially with snow and ice over it?
If snow covers top solar panel, it will not charge. But works fine over winter.

LOL, the comments. Well you can tell when the light came on bright mode that it really didn't light the area up at all. You would probably have to install about 10 of them to light up an area. His was too small but it's an idea at least

Amazing, this is the 4th video I've seen like this and I just want to see the actual 120° angel of supposed light coverage.

Show us the light it gives off to your yard, not how bright the light is itself. Many lights are very bright but give off little light and many lights are dont look bright but give off lots of light where needed. You should re do this video please.

Damn, bro! Your review was no good for showing WHAT the light could DO. All I saw was a bright blob going from dim to bright. You should of shown what the area looked like that was being LIT UP! I have NO CLUE as to the effectiveness of the output. Is it DIMMER than, say, Mr. Beam, or BRIGHTER?
