I've always preferred the solar panel being separate to the light unit, similar to your first solar light... that way you can place and angle the solar panel towards the sun to the south. With this unit, say you place to to aim south, then the back with the solar panel would be pointed north, where it would only get indirect light to slowly charge the batteries...
Thank you for taking the time to do your video presentation. My wife and I just purchased the same unit and installed it yesterday. The installation was easy, but the instructions on how to operate it after we charged it for the day was not clear. Your video helped explain how to use the remote control properly. We just tested the light and it works great! Thank you again for making the video! Now we just got to see how this unit holds up over time.
I'm on the fence about the solar panels. The overall design is more pleasing but you cannot adjust the panel without adjusting the direction of the light. Seems like no direct light is hitting it and it's gathering reflected light from your house. Might be fine in the summer but in the winter where you'd want all the light you can get, it may become a problem.
Actually it picks up indirect and direct light. Means reflected light from air molecules and surroundings. It's high efficiency! Rather 10xs more efficient than a separate aimed one if you ask me. (Owner of several types)
You must understand that solar street light is alternative option to grid-powered street light, it works fine most of the time even in the winter if its battery capacity is large enough to survive continuous sowny / rainy/ cloudy days. Chose solar street lights you will benefit from its zero electricity bills, easy to install, get rid of wires and grid power, etc. You have to see its pros and cons dialectically.
I have two of these still not installed. Thank you for this video with explanation you encouraged me, I am installing today. Single homeowner DIY Carol
Thank you for the post. I bought four to put in the parking lot of my business because of people coming in the dead of night trying to steal car parts.
Thanks for making this video. How many lumens does the dusk to dawn mode display. I know you said 30% but I can't find what is the 100% lumen rate. Thank you again
I liked the video. Clear, well presented and well edited. I was curious about performance as staying on all night in winter, when charge time would be minimum and use would be maximum.
Is there one with separate solar panel and the light itself can be adjusted to a different angle I need one to light up the back yard not just down the wall !
You should have disabled it covered up the shed light for a look at the true light output, and coverage. I would paint the mounting bracket and arm to match your house color. On your old light, did it have enough battery reserve to last all night at full brightness? Can this new light stay at full brightness all night, or only the 3 selectable hours? Great videos! Thanks.
To be honest, I don't spend a lot of time at the back of my house during the winter, but since it has a dim mode and goes to full bright with motion, the battery will last quite a long time. I can tell you this light is still working to this day after 2 years.
Nice review. I am thinking of getting this very model light. How would you rate it now, are you still happy with it. does it stay on for a full 12+ hours on full charge?
Aside the motion sensor there is indicator lights, put the light under the sunlight, if the indicator lights keep blinking it's probably charging; Same way to know discharging in the night.
I see you are confused, like most of consumers, not your fault, it's totally on the sellers and those factories who thought they are so smart to fool consumers by exaggerate solar street light's power, they started and others followed. and some one even more crazy to lable their solar street lights 1200W, 2000W, etc. So just ignore the power, it's more than a name but not the really power like the grid street light. Hope this helps.
I think your old unit is much more better , may be I am wrong . But the reason the lamp is bulky is that it has larger battery which is very important .And the size of solar panel is larger than the new one which can make your battery fully charge in a day. Could you pls do more update video?
The other one started having issue with battery not holding the charge overnight. Whereas this new one that I installed is still working with no issue.
Thanks for letting me know but unfortunately it's really hard to stop those people on IG or FB ads. If I see it, I will look into reporting it. Thanks!

Your right .. Any brand light u suggest?
Solar panel technology has matured where one can get decent performance from indirect solar energy.

Has anyone purchased battery replacements? I need new batteries and can’t find them anywhere. Thx!
Very informative and we'll done , actually showing the Difference between the lighting Brightness is a winner . TY
Peace.. Shalom.. Salam.. Namaste and Thank You for All your efforts to support Solar Power 🙏🏻 😊 🌈 ✌ 🌷 ☮ ❤
Received mine and installed it… couldn’t be happier with the outcome, like your home my home is white also, wish it had the option of a white light!
Thank you for posting this video. $100 is a great price and $80!is almost to good to be true. Thank you again.
Thank you. Great video. Just installed on of these. It's very bright.

Thank you so much for your invaluable information, highly appreciate it, have a great day.
Looks good
Can the battery be replaced?
Whats the battery and LED lifespan.
Now you can grill till the sun comes up!!!
Yes sir!
How did that security light hold up? Is it still functioning properly?
Yes still works.
Very professional video you made Thanks so very much!
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the video just ordered one to try it out

Will it stay on 100% brightness if you adjust it instead of waiting for a motion to wake it on?
Why replace when you just can add new one on different place
I liked the video. Clear, well presented and well edited.
I was curious about performance as staying on all night in winter, when charge time would be minimum and use would be maximum.
Question: I am having difficulties with setting the motion detector.
Would you please tell/show me the exact steps?
Thank you
me too, motion sensor didn't work
On pole too
What is the length and width of the plate mount? What is the maximum length and angle of the pole with light section?
You the best God bless you
If we set it to 2 hours max brightness, will it go back to "Radar" mode when that 2H timer's up?
Thank you
Can it be tilted?
I have the same one but the model is a little different. So are you getting direct sunlight where you placed yours?
Yes it does get sunlight during the day. There are no trees or covering above the solar panel.
Can I install it without pressing the remote for anything
Just bought this unit..video was very helpful...what size bolts did you use...my unit came with some L bolts.....thank you
Can't remember exact size, but got them at Home Depot and I think they are 3" long lag bolts.
So it always stays on and doesn't automatically turn off?
Nice light ones i'am getting looks just like it but its Motion Sensor with 3 setting with remote control
How long foes it last? And the battery would it last atleast a year. Is it teplaceable?
Hie,mine they only functioning 1 mininute and it wll switch off for some 10 min,all they are doing the same.pliz help

Perhaps something like this amzn.to/3NWWPYK

Thank you. What setting do you put it on to stay on all night, From dusk to dawn? Thank you🙂
Sherry, the lights has a PIR motion sensor which keeps its low brightness when no motion is detected; In this case it could stay lighting whole nights
@@edxiang8390 thank you very much,
Can you simply use this as an on/off light? I’d want to disable the motion and night sensor.
You have to use the remote control to do that.
Can you adjust the timer for longer timing
Does the wind trigger it to go full-bright?
No
What is the cost for that light the new one that you put up and the website that I can buy it from
Good video if you move it higher you will get more coverage of light also 🙂
Does it have a color temperature?
This is a better explanation
how long does the batteries last during winter.. as the daylight are short

Don’t forget to seal the 2 holes 🕳 from previous solar light bracket because of rain water 💦 😅
how long it last? 10mins?
How is the kinghe solar light working
Becareful with that ladder, I've seen many accidents with those
Thanks for the advice!
Hello is the light still working?
Yes its still working
City street lights and electrical and solar
Nice review. I am thinking of getting this very model light. How would you rate it now, are you still happy with it. does it stay on for a full 12+ hours on full charge?
do they make smaller version for fence
Have you tried non Chinese brand
What brand is the old one?
You made a very helpful video
Can update the link to the light?
HEY I HAVE A QUESTION, I HAVE VINYL SIDING, WHERE CAN I MOUNT THIS ON THE HOUSE AND WHAT DO I USE TO MOUNT IT WITH?
Behind the siding is plywood. Pre drill the hole and use lag bolts to mount it.
What size and length would you think would work?
@@JDomino Go to Home Depot and find something 3"long. Can't remember size of bolt but you will see the choices at HD.
Does it last trough all the night?
Yes if it's fully charged during the day.
I only have one question? Price?
Link in video description with price. Currently $80 with the coupon you can check under the price.
Why going on sensor I prefer steady all night
Sensor is used to save battery life.
If the light was on 100 percent, the battery life would be shorter for the night
How does it charge
What has the longevity so far, still the same brightness 🌞 as before, it's been about 8 months since you installed it 😉
Still working these days.
You have the 200w or 300w?
How many lumes
anyway to know if it's charging or not?
Aside the motion sensor there is indicator lights, put the light under the sunlight, if the indicator lights keep blinking it's probably charging; Same way to know discharging in the night.
No more electrical connection at all?
No external power connection.
what's the battery size
Unfortunately it’s not 200 watts
I noticed the model # he gave is for a 301W, not 200w.
in facts maybe 9watts
So it doesn’t turn on when it’s light out?
No it doesn't.
Good am thinking of installing it too
Nice
How much cost and from where you buy it
contact me 😊
How many years they last?
A good one could use 3 to 5 years without do anything about it.
The old one cost $200 IP65 500w .. new one $100 and has 200w .. don’t see a difference

You don’t need wire
