Chris, your 1st videos on the Pathfinder fog lights and cowl lights convinced me to install the same. I have to say these are at the top of my favorites on the bike. The brightness of the cowl lights are incredible and the wrap around turn signals I feel add a lot to the safety. The PF fog light brightness really complement the cowl lights much more than the OEM fog lights I replaced. Thanks for your reviews!

There’s no issue with engine heat damaging the wires that rest on the engine?
When you print your template note that there is a 5 cm scale. Measure this and verify it is 5 cm. Adjust your scaling until it measures 5 cm.
I'd like to turn these daylight lights off for night riding. I was wondering how you might approach that. I could use the centre console fog light button, or a push switch in the petrol release pocket. I guess I could just switch into the additional harness power wire without upsetting any canbus sensitivities...

Did you ever had problems with oncoming traffic, that Thea sondern shout youre lights, exspally at night?
Just installed myself as well as the add-on DRL mirror signals and Kuryakyn fork light....the cowl lights overpower all the other leds.

I'm considering disconnecting the white wire, but they are low.
These are nice-looking lights, and I like the idea of being visible from the side. Many ads (and your video) say 2018+, but when I entered my 2023 Tour DCT into the "does this fit your bike" section for ordering them, it came back saying that it does NOT fit my new 2023 Goldwing. Is there something different on my bike that makes this light incompatible?
I am just guessing that they have not updated their website to include the 2023 and later model years. They will definitely fit.

Great Video - How does this connection work if you have the tailblazer brake light modulator? Isn't it connected in the same place (Harness)?
If you’ve installed the pathfinder accessory hub, these would be tied to that rather than adding the plug and play? I’m installing on a 2021. Thanks for your help.

On the 2021 it is imperative you have a relay hub to power the LED turn signal feature separately from the CANBUS. I used the show chrome, but Pathfinder sells a relay hub that works with this and their other led lights.
I use the Isolation box vor all ja lights. It works pretty good!
All of my Goldstrike plugs are full and I want add these cowl lights but I'm also installing the Pathfinder accessory Hub protector. I know it'll eliminate the Goldstrike harness and I'll need to cut the plugs to attach those four accessory lights to connect them to the Pathfinder hub. My question is: Do I still use the Pathfinder harness and just cut the one plug on the sub harness from the new cowl lights to run it through the hub?
Hello Cruiseman. Was wondering if you think the Pathfinder cowl lamps connectors under the seat could be de-pinned and arranged in a fashion that will match the Kuryakyn Omni tail lamp pins? Reason for asking is I already have the Kuryakyn harness with 3 expansion accessory connectors installed on my bike as I am running their Omni trunk lamp and saddle bag accent lights & would like to use the 3rd. supplied connector for a clean plug & play install. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello , Are the flashing bonnet lights sold with the "fog" led lights or are these two products sold separately at pathfinder?
Hello Cruiseman! Great install video. I just received my 2024 GW DCT Tour and had the dealer install these ehile they did some other things. I noticed I do NOT get any turn signals, just daytime running lights. I checked the connections and everything seems to be correct. Do you think there is any difference with the 2024 model year that would cause the turn signals not to work?
Did they install these with the Pathfinder Accessory Hub for the 2021+ Goldwing or the plug-n-play harness? There was a change to these from 2018 to 2021. If they used the wrong harness, it could have affected the turn signals. For all Goldwings after 2021, they have to use the PAH60GW V2 for installation. The plug-n-play connectors do not support the new turn signals.

According to Pathfinders website...any 2021 or newer Goldwing will need to use the PDM for power....Anyone have experience in installing these on a 2021 or 2022 with the harness and NOT a PDM? Thank you!
Will these plug and play sub harnesses work with the Kisan Tail Blazers connected in-line?
I have the same question since i am not sure whether this will cause any issue with the harness function. I am surprises There is no response.

I went to wire cowl lights and plug and play wire harness that in stalled for the trunk lower saddlebag lights plug into and work fine. But the wire ends are not compatible so I cut the ends off the cowl lights and the plug and play to wire directly running lights work fine no directional lights the test lights will flash but looks like low voltage to low for the LED lights to work not sure why. what am I missing ?
That is why I recommend the PathfinderLED Power Accessory Hub. Too many issues with the Plug-N-Play Harnesses.

Yes, but you are better using the Pathfinder Accessory Hub.
For some reason i thought there were plugs already available from the factory for fog lights at the mounting location. I wouldve bet that i saw a video about it but i guess not. 🤔Thanks for your videos they are a great help.

Not seamlessly. You would most likely need to cut off one the plug-n-play connectors on each side of your Goldstrike harness and cut off the p-n-p connectors on the cowl light wires, then wire them up manually. PathfinderLED provides the color codes for the wires as I am sure Goldstrike does, so you can get the proper wires connected correctly.

Chris, I'd like to bypass the G184XP harness, cut off the connector on the cable coming from the cowl light and attach the wires directly to my isolation fuse block. Is there any issue with my doing that? If not, what color wire goes where? Thank you.
According to the installation instructions, the white wire is running, Yellow is Right Turn, Blue is Left Turn, Black is Ground.
In fact, that is exactly what I have done.
Daniel, that is what SoCal recommended to me for my 21 GW Tour DCT Airbag - cut and wire the wires direct to the PAH60. Apparently the 21 has a bit different electronic system.
Daniel..I just wired in Muth mirrors, Kuryakyn omni fork and bag lights and pathfinder cowl lights on my 2022 GWT and had to do just that...I had to hack the ends off all and wire together (L and R separately of course) into my show chrome fuse block....bit of trial and error (and a few choice expletives!) but all is good and it look great...however the cowl light do overpower the others a bit. Thanks to Cruiseman for giving me the confidence to get this done!!

You need the Pathfinder power distribution hub for 2021 and 2022
