Reading this made me tear up. It's crazy how one small mistake can destroy someone's life, but it’s also amazing how love and determination can turn everything around. Sarah's story shows how broken the system is but also how strong a family can be when they fight together
This is absolutely unjust, this judge should be thrown in prison and should never be allowed a position of power like that again. Social injustice in this country is just absolutely mind blowing. People should be treated equally and with respect. Someone might make a mistake but that doesn't mean you need to ruin their life over it... Especially after a simple mistake like that.
That judge should be locked up in prison for life without parole. We are all human beings one race it’s human. The judge is prejudiced and colorism. The innocent woman should have been allowed to go home with her family.
This is why we need accountability in our justice system. Judge Harrison’s actions were beyond unjust, but Sarah's strength and the community’s unity give me hope. Let’s demand more transparency and fairness from those in power
"Absolutely agree! Accountability is essential in our justice system. Judge Harrison's actions were unacceptable, but Sarah's resilience and the support of her community show the power of unity. Let’s keep pushing for transparency and justice
What is really troubling about this is that it took the sentencing of the Mayor's wife to bring about change even though it had been going on for years.
How long will what has been achieved over the years be sustained, now that Donald Trump chief promoter of racism, back in the White House? I see the trend going to be at the highest level?
Wow, what a rollercoaster! Seeing that judge go from total control to total panic was priceless. Respect and fairness should be given to everyone, regardless of who they are or who they’re connected to
Good I'm glad that they found that the judge was crooked and he should be taken out of order he should never be a judge again That's sad that people like that use their power to discriminate
Sarah Thompson is truly an extraordinary mother. Despite the harsh circumstances, she maintained her dignity and self-respect when standing in court, defending herself for the sake of her children. The image of a single mother working two jobs, caring for three children, and still finding time to volunteer at the food bank is truly inspiring. Her resilience and love for her family are a testament to the strength of mothers in overcoming adversity.
*The moment Sarah was sentenced in the courtroom was heart-wrenching. To think of a mother and wife, sentenced to life over something so minor, is horrifying and enraging. This is a stark reminder of the deep flaws in our justice system, and a call to action for all of us. We must strive for a system that judges fairly and without bias*
*This narrative is powerful and inspiring. Mayor James Mitchell's bravery in standing up for his wife and justice is a lesson in integrity and love. Your work highlights the critical need for systemic change. Keep creating impactful content!*
Systemic change? Really? Ok lemme put it to ya this way. In the entire history of mankind there has ALWAYS been hatred. Taught from infancy, the Jews HATE Arabs and the Arabs Hate Jews. And before we dive into a slavery talk and the wrongs committed against those people, let's first discuss the TOTAL ENTIRETY of slavery across the globe. EVERY RACE has been placed in bondage at some point in history. The worst ones being the Arabs that used to import sold people from Africa, turn them into Eunuchs, (this practice was officially stopped in 1962 or 63 but was real up to that point) and have them serve like that because no one trusted a black man with a penis. And perhaps rightly so, for any color but this is specific to the Black Race and Africa in particular. Also the Tribal Warlords sold off their enemies to slavers to flat out get rid of them. No matter what you do someone will harbor Hatred of Some Kind towards some group or individual and WE as a people need to do better about EDUCATING the people about the TOTAL SLAVE HISTORY rather than the one sided version that is told by people that were never once a slave in over 150 years gone by now. Has there been injustices? Of course there has. But legislation and rules will be ignored by those that do not care about it. Much like the hundred's of thousands of people that drive to work everyday breaking the speed limit. So before ya toss out the baby with the bath water, REALITY CHECK. Get Educated first.
This video is so powerful! The way it highlights the deep flaws in the justice system and the courage it takes to stand up against injustice is truly inspiring. Bravo for shedding light on such an important issue!
Watching from Auburn, PA GREAT story about prejudice in sentencing in the judicial system in local courts. One courthouse found that discrimination in sentencing had been going on for 50 years while a particular judge was on the bench. Hundreds/thousands of innocent people and children still serving hefty sentences for misdemeanors, like Sarah, who was serving a life sentence for having her mom’s medication in her purse in the wrong bottle. A LOT of people will be getting out of prison. I wonder what the price of injustice will cost that town and that judge. It should be hefty for all the Blacks serving time for no reason than the color of their skin.
Thank you so much for these Wonderful and Touching Story i wish Justice can be done like these most especially in country with failed System and Government like Nigerian
I have a question? Why on earth didn’t that judge get a life sentence for his crimes that are worst then what she did ? My answer; because no matter what the system is corrupt and he got away with his corrupt criminal behavior
They always do. This is how Black and Brown Skin people always get the worst charges on the same crime as white people. There's so many Black people in prison that is innocent.. I have visited my husband who it happened to has been 39 years

Our Judicial system is filled with not only racial bias but also favoritism for those who are wealthy. ANYONE who is tried by his peers and found guilty, regardless of his or her position in life or the amount of money they have should receive whatever sentence is handed down. this seems like a troll post. According to this story, she had her mom's heart meds but not in the original container. So what? You can test hair and blood etc to find out if this girl actually ingested it if you are so snoopy. Her mom could have also testified. Also you need evidence to convict someone if you are going to claim they were selling. There are some judges that are way too harsh on minorities, of course. They might overly sentence a black person but not a white one for the exact same crime. So the theme of this post is valuable but the incidents presented are too unbelievable unless there is some proof that it did happen in real life. I think this post would be far more interesting if it was more believable.

THIS VIDEO SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED WHAT JUSTICE WAS DONE TO BIAS JUDGE HARRISON, OR ANOTHER VIDEO SHOULD COVER WHAT HAPPENED AFTER JUDGE HARRIOSON WAS SUSPENDED.
This is a story, not reality.
This is such a fake story
Did the Judge go to jail or not
They should this Judge , when he did sentence this lady life time for misdemeanor , may he graduated from grammar school not law school.
God bless America , they should these Judges because , America not like that . stop discrimination .
What does the status of her husband have to do with the sentence?
Innocence or guilt should determine the sentence.
How can I know that this is a true story. Any online sources?
😮😮🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️😡😡😡
First it was just 5 now it the next day
I tried looking for these people but can’t find any of them. Is this just a story?
Yep. AI fiction... Based loosely on some judges still sitting on benches that have no business being there.
this seems like a troll post.
Lord free your child 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Why are you just showing successful people not people in the normal world ♊️
This can't be legit. What's the case?
This is the world we live in1😮
These little fantasy stories are nice🎉
Also why would the cops arrest her for heart medication- that’s needs investigation
Judges need to stepdown
