- In todays video we visited Sanibel Island and Captiva to show you all the places I could find that are open. There is also a lot of resturants and shops that reopened in Belle Tower Shops in Fort Myers. At the end of the video we visited La Ola surfside resturant originally on Fort Myers Beach.
Light House Beach: • Sanibel Island Lightho...
Ding Darling: • Sanibel Island J.N. Di...
Thank you so much. This is the first video I've seen that actually shows and identifies what's left. It's both upsetting and heartening.
Thank you, I try to show the progress so we can keep moving forward :)
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing the positive side of Captiva & Sanibel after Hurricane Ian. With the Snow Bird season coming the retailers and restaurants need all the help they can get.
That’s my goal, I’m hoping it will bring in some traffic to the businesses there.
Thank you, we’re going in December beautiful place
THX for this great video, going to the area next march and can't wait to come back!!!!

Nick how are you and your family holding up? Praying for your safety and everyone in FL!
Thanks for checking in, we did fine down in fort myers, I think I just saw downtown punta gorda flooded however
@@Nickfromfloridaaa great to hear this! Hopefully Punta Gordy will see relief soon! Take care!
Noticed the structures either survived Ian or rebuilt with metal roofs; metal roofs are the way to go in hurricane prone areas!!
I’ve noticed a lot of metal roofs going up here now for sure
Nick can you give any info on status of West End Paradise on Tahiti Dr on Sanibel? -Near the Ding Darling...Thanks
I’ll try to check it out if I get the chance
Thanks and much appreciated. @@Nickfromfloridaaa
I’m wondering if The Thriller speed boat is open for business?? We had a blast riding near the coast of Sanibel with dolphins all around the boat while traveling fast!!
That sounds awesome! I’ll have to check it out and see if it’s open
