This is my first year for OLW...i am doing a monthly word..
January's is FOCUS...on essential spending only, on task completion (I procrastinate) and on health habits. Feb. Is BOUNDARIES and March is COMITTMENT. Regardless of what our word is, this exercise helps us to take a closer look at how we are living, and to look for ways to make it our best life!
Tfs Heather. 2023 is my 3rd year with OLW/WotYr. I'm going with 2: Resilience & Refocus. As a healthcare worker who is STILL dealing with patients with COVID for the 3rd year non-stop, I'm beyond EXHAUSTED! Praying that my soul's joy will be restored in 2023.
For resilience, I have a dashboard from Cloth & Paper at the front of my planner, which will be a regular reminder. I will use your idea of using a sticker box on the back of that dashboard for my other word.
This is my 3rd year planning and my first year word was TRUST and 2nd year word was SOAR. Those 2 words work together for me…..if you Trust, you can Soar, despite your circumstances. This year with a brand new baby granddaughter, my word is WONDER. Everything is new and full of wonder when you spend time with a preschooler. These years go so quickly and are so much fun to share.

You are so graceful with your hand lettering. I just can not seem to master it. Pretty spread and that is a very good word! I was thinking diligent. Because I want to be diligent in my Bible reading, quiet time with God, finances, health.
Intentional was my word for the current year! Same concept as mine related to intentional with my time, my love and money :) ❄️

I'm really thinking my word should be "Breathe." I'm a person that gets worked up really fast. "Anxiety." I think this would be a good reminder to have while I start a new job and start my first year of college for my BA in social work.

Love this word. I was just telling my husband how overwhelmed I was because I haven’t figured out how to balance kids, work, faith, wellness etc. Beautiful spread

I can’t decide on my word! 🤦🏼♀️Might just have a motto this year. “Achieve through persistence” what do you think?
I am debating between purpose and intention as I want to use my time with purpose and stop procrastinating 🙃 I want to be intentional with my spending because as a stay at home mom I don't have much to spend anyway, but I do need to start thinking on how to cut-off things so that our travel and renovation wishes can happen. I also need to make time for workouts and my mental health and time to organize all in my house as I wish it to be and stop wasting hours watching random clips on social media all the time (sometimes I sit and then notice I've been there watching videos for 2 hours instead of using my time with purpose)

I picked 2 words: balance and intention this year! Other words in previous years--focus and flourish. My intention this year is to balance work and home life and commit more time to planning!!!

Last year was the first year I tried OLW. My word was Intentional. I didn’t track it or hold my held accountable. I love your monthly check-in. Now I need to figure out my word. I’m leaning towards persevere/perseverance. Facing some things that will need me to persevere
This was my 2022 word. It really helped give me direction throughout the year.
That is so crazy. Getting to my word was also a process and guess what!? And last week I also ended up with "intentional" !!!!!
