My word this year is CONNECT. This applies to multiple areas of my life. I was going to do a page in my planner last night. But fizzled out. I'm glad that I waited until today because I'm now even more inspired!

My word for 2020 is INTENTIONAL. I need to be more intentional about a lot of things in my life, like attending church every Sunday, exercising daily, being more positive, praising my husband daily and talking to my family and friends on a regular basis.

In 2018 my OLR was Discover and I did that in many ways. 2019- Adventure- looking at my calendar it was going to be adventurous. 2020- I've chosen 2, focus and flourish. I need to actually refocus my life after the chaos of last year but I also wanted to grow positively in many ways in my life, hence flourish.
I took part in Planathon2020 and decided my word is TIME... time to enjoy the thing I want to do, more time with hubby, more time for charity, more time for Faith Practice. I hope you Flourish in 2020! Happy Planning!
Flourish is a great word! My word is YES. Yes to the life I want, yes to God, yes to peace, yes to a lot of things which also sometimes means saying no. I put my word on my cover.
My word is BELIEVE. I need to believe in myself and my abilities. Too often I assume I can't do things or learn things and that is simply not the truth. I will step out in faith in 2020 and BELIEVE that I can! I'd like to track all of the new things I do or learn as a result if believing in myself.
My word is TIME. No more saying I don't have the time. No more being forgetful or late. No more is momma here putting herself last. No more procrastinating 2 big projects. I will have a easy schedule to follow. I will have more fun with family and friends. I will be prepared for no school days, extra long weekends, holidays, birthdays, summer, etc.

The word I chose for the year is based on John 3 vs 30. "He must increase, but I must decrease." My goal is to increase my time spent in the word, while I DECREASE weight, clothing size, debt, belongings, wasted time etc :-)

My word is purpose. I just left teaching but with no plan or direction. I couldn’t take the heartache anymore. My OLW is to remind me of my goal (to find my purpose) AND to remind me that my purpose is more than a job. Also, everything I do, every dollar I spend, and every word I speak should be for a purpose I can be proud of.
This is so cute! What can of transfer paper do you use? My husband and I just got a Cricut machine, but their transfer paper is SO sticky, I'm worried it will mess up things I'm trying to transfer onto.
Persevere is my one little word. 2019 is ending on a difficult note. While still recuperating from my hip replacement surgery, my hubby had a heart attack Christmas Eve. We will persevere!!

Trust. I chose trust as I get anxious about things: my grown kids' and their well being, work, my husband's health, my health...too much. This is my first year doing OLW instead of a resolution that always falls to the way side. My word this year is MINDFUL. I want to be more mindful of my family, friends, finances, well being, the choices I make.

Karen C I think a big thing with goal setting is knowing to focus on some and achieving those. And that it’s not a deal breaker if you don’t achieve all of the goals. Plan with Laken said something similar and it has really helped me to realize the big picture. Hope this helps. 💜🙏
My word for 2020 is PERSEVERANCE. I had a lot of big changes in 2019 so I’m 2020 I need to persevere to find the new me, to get moving more with chronic pain it’s going to be tough and to find a way to visit my family overseas. I’m going to do it!
My word for the year is revelation. Waiting on God to reveal Himself, His plans, what steps to take next.... I will also be hand writing (and studying) the book of Revelation from the Bible. It's always scared me to read it and I decided it's time for me to see what God revealed in it. I'm both excited and anxious. Thank you for this great way to incorporate my OLW into my planner. :)
My 2020 word is “Nurse” to thrive in school, get the job done, graduate. Remember to soak in all the wonderful skills I will learn. Don’t worry, don’t complain! Keep testing anxiety away! Hi Heather, my OLW for 2020 is Legacy. I want every day of 2020 to be intentional living focused on my Legacy (my 3 year old Granddaughter). I want to minimize the "stuff" in my physical world - keeping what is needed, loved, and brings joy. I want to enrich the memories that eventually will sustain her when I'm gone. I am a photographer, journaler/writer, scrapbooker, memory keeper and planner so I want to keep those efforts moving in the direction of my legacy and not just collecting "stuff". LOVE this video. I jut thought about various ideas hinges. Wanted in my life starting now.. I wrote them all down, and just looked at them. Eventually the right one won out. This year my word is "LOVELY ". I have had several words I have used over the years.. it has been most helpful for me. Last year was creat, I have also used, inspire, bold, joy, in vision, bright, shine, and others. This year "LOVELY ".
My word for 2020 is wellness and I have four areas that I want to work on Wellness and so being that I'm a retired nurse and we create care plans with measurable goals and then interventions to achieve those goals I have created a care plan for myself and I put those four areas in the beginning of the month and I have trackers set up for each of the goals so that I can track them each day throughout the month and there are 16 goals and I have with using planner Kate stickers I either have the goals on the weekly or at the beginning of the month I'm excited I can't wait for day one to get here and then I will evaluate those goals at the end of the month and see if I need to tweak anything for the next month like I said I'm a retired nurse that's what we do hope you have a very happy New Year and I love your videos

I have had several words I have used over the years.. it has been most helpful for me. Last year was creat, I have also used, inspire, bold, joy, in vision, bright, shine, and others. This year "LOVELY ".

My word for 2020 is wellness and I have four areas that I want to work on Wellness and so being that I'm a retired nurse and we create care plans with measurable goals and then interventions to achieve those goals I have created a care plan for myself and I put those four areas in the beginning of the month and I have trackers set up for each of the goals so that I can track them each day throughout the month and there are 16 goals and I have with using planner Kate stickers I either have the goals on the weekly or at the beginning of the month I'm excited I can't wait for day one to get here and then I will evaluate those goals at the end of the month and see if I need to tweak anything for the next month like I said I'm a retired nurse that's what we do hope you have a very happy New Year and I love your videos

I searched for my word for weeks, and finally last week I chose flourish,too! 😁 I love it! I have tons of reasons why I chose it :)

Flourish was my 2017 word and it was the best year yet! 2018 was simplify and 2019 was survive. Still praying over my 2020 word.
2019 Word was INTENT. Still seeking for 2020.
I picked GRACE as my word. I will hold myself to a standard of Grace not perfection.
