My word is BEGINNING. Beginning my health and fitness journey, my home organization and decluttering, my new hobbies, my kids are Beginning college and I'll begin as an empty nester. New beginnings for so many!
My word for 2023 was Present. My first grandchild was born at the end of 2022 and I wanted to focus on being completely present with her. It was a good year! Still thinking about this year. Possibly calm or maybe peace. Something along those lines.
Loved this story. Just a call out to YES it's hard. But you choose the hard right? I'd much rather have the hardships of child bearing/raising than the hardship of something else (bad things came to mind: addiction, being alone, etc.) I love this AND wanted to tell you it's ok to even cherish the hard. It's ok to have all the feelings during this time. :) so proud with you Heather. Thanks for including us on your journey.
Love this page! My word for the past years: 2024 - Faithful 2023- Balance 2022- Health 2021 - Mindful 2020- Present My focus in these words have changed my life for the positive!! I thank my planner community for getting me started and helping me “create a life I love”. ❤
Love your choice for this year for you! Yes, cherish those in your life and cherish each moment with them! My word for 2023 was Trust (in the Lord) and my word for this year is Abide (in Him). I've looked in my Strong's concordance for all the Bible verses with abide or abideth in them and will read one a day for the year (will have to repeat several time). And will also go back and add the definition (as you suggested) to my "cover" page. Loved how yours turned out. Praying for you as you meet your new little one!!!! - I'm guessing today or tomorrow!
Love this! My children are 3 years apart and now in their mid 30's I love seeing them being good friends. As for that Word...for the first time, at 67 years old, I feel the need to find one! Might need to be "change" since that is what I am feeling. LOL
I also had same thought about just trying to survive but I settled on more positive word - Nourish! Thanks for sharing your process which was just so real & natural! This is why I love to watch you create! Thanks…😊
This year I have chosen the word SIMPLIFY. I feel things have become so complicated that I need to find the most simple way to go about everything I can. Just because the world is making everything complicated doesn't mean I have to and I can be simple.
Initially, 2024 was Endure. I began to think that sounded too much like a struggle. Embrace is more positive and how I want to approach aging, budgeting (finances and time,) faith activities (fellowship, service, and studies,) relationships, retirement planning, and wellness. I haven't defined the word or its elements, but that's for later today or tomorrow. (God sometimes changes it before the year closes.) My 2023 word was Focus.
My word is: Dedicated Life is good. I am so blessed, but life can be so challenging. The choices our nearest and dearests make so affects us. I choose to be diligent and dedicated to them anyway, to my Lord and Savior, to my husband, and lastly myself. I would like to be the very best I can be in 2024, with a Smile!😊
@@leannefox4213 me too…. Either simplify or streamline…..(unless of course I totally changed my mind between now and my self imposed due date of December 31 lol)
