This happened to me many times, in csgo too :) I also reported many accounts blatantly cheating with link to the exact demo of the game and they didn't get VAC after months. I don't know if they ever got them. It's not on devs, it's on the people. The people nowadays have no sense of moral values and they don't care if they are ruining game for legit players, they enjoy it even. Bye bye the old days :D
The thing is not enough people are actually interested in making a clean competitive environment. That is the reality, even really high elo players don't have enough brain to realize that if people are cheating in competitive, it just renders the whole game useless.

Even faceit is messed up in its own way. Got a game in chicago server yesterday where I was low ping and everyone else was 90-110 ping and speaking spanish. Not sure why or how faceit/valve can't set a cap on this. I specifically don't play dallas servers for this reason. So now I get doubly fucked from the peekers advantage and the huge ping descrepency where it feels like the other team can see me a whole second before I can see them I would instantly die anytime I was close to peeking something. "Competitive FPS" my ass.

I still remember after a couple of months after csgo was made free to play i was getting kicked from my MM games for not cheating, I was told I was "throwing" by not cheating.
In the first few months of the release I was also cuffing some copium on Valve quick-fixing CS and didn't like how extreme some of Loba's takes are, but seeing the other famous streamers or pro players who only play Faceit or watch tournaments only cope even harder is just sad. The worse part is that when (if) Valve releases a better anti-cheat and fixes the game overall those exact streamers will say something like 'See, I told y'all they were cooking all this time'... Like bro they should've been done cooking by last September and in the end took our well-done steak from our plate and cooked nothing, but instead put raw meat on the table and then kept baking it with a lighter in front of you...
In the last 20 games, I've caught 17 cheaters including 1 spinbot and most with WH and Aimlock. MM is unplayable now and that's why I decided to switch to faceit.

I mean, if Valve started banning people like that, the cheaters' developers would simply disable the feature; it would be a temporary fix that gave the impression that they were doing something when they weren't. This would be a good way to deceive people who don't understand the long-term implications because it would simply mean that these types of features would not be released, leaving the situation unchanged considering the anti cheat don't work. The people that made CSGO what it was have moved on, and are no longer in the positions they were during CSGO development. That means you are dealing with a different engine, rewriting large parts of the game and removing old code. I've seen Valve code documentation, it might not be possible or worth it to figure out what every line of old code was doing/intended to do. That in itself was the issue, CSGO was created over a long period of time by people who are probably no longer working on it or can't make sense of the code anymore. So they start from scratch, in the newer Source2 engine, to future proof the development. Unfortunately, it's been quite the shit show and there has been quite the outrage so when it is done we'll have to see how many uncorrupted players are left standing. I hereby pledge to never be a cheating bastard ;)

the client cheat using a server from the same site, they detect the player on your game, check if theyh had the ID steam login on their cheats, and send back to you if they using the same cheat than you at the same game.

I only play for weekly drops and that's it. Also i was an admin in cs 1.6 private servers 20 years ago, so it's just amazing, back then people were smarter to hide their cheats when they were playing but not nowadays.

Been 1 month. It is the same thing. I get cheaters in 70% of games. Such a waste of time.
Stop playing this game. Stop giving valve money, stop feeding the charts, stop playing for 6 months, and you will be back to a new sick game. It works only if you push valve to the corner and they start to lose amount of player like when valorant was released they pumped updates.
When i played my placement games for Premier, i got like 1 or 2 cheaters in 15 games but when i got my Premier Rating every game has a cheater, can someone explain this? Oh and also Loba, there might be cheaters on Faceit as well but there are way fewer and they actually get punished for cheating
I feel faceit have more soft cheaters, keeping it lowkey.. some players/teams know way too well where to pre-aim without any reason

That's not the current state of CS2, it's like this since launch, but now they are not even pretending to be clean. Literally months ago we played some wingmans, nearly every game got cheaters, and it wasn't even high elo. Game is trash, I paid for this shit only to see them taking CSGO from me and granting everyone this sht for free

the client cheat using a server from the same site, they detect the player on your game, check if theyh had the ID steam login on their cheats, and send back to you if they using the same cheat than you at the same game.

I only play matchmaking-casual and it's so much fun than competitive and because it has way less cheaters. Competitive and face it are so toxic that you might just start losing your hair just from dealing with sub humans lmao. I don't see how people could play this competitively only to be left stressed, it loses all meaning because games are meant to bring fun not the opposite.

Stopped playing after CS2 got released. CSGO was way better even with the hackers.
