- Quick video replacing a control arm on my mustang. This thing was causing a loud thumping sound when I was slowing down and when it came to a complete stop. I hope you find this video useful , and I’ll see y’all on the next one!

You do a great job of explaining how to remove and replace the control arm. Even a newbe could do the job. Keep on posting your videos, they are great.
Awesome! Thanks for watching, more stuff coming soon 😁
As another guy commented: the bolt on the chassis side shall only be hand tightened.
Then put something under the wheel and let the car down a bit so there is load on the suspension.
Only then tighten the bold completely - and of course to the correct torque of 250 Nm.
Good video. Thank you. I especially liked when you threw the old arm on the floor in disgust. :) good comments too on using proper torque and loaded suspension. Super helpful
lol yup bushings gave up on me, glad you enjoyed the video ✌️
Great to hear some of the problems that could come up. Great vid.
Thank you bro , I’m glad you found it useful. I’m just sharing my experience, thanks for watching 🤟
Great video man thank you for sharing your knowledge 👍👍👍
Thank you bro I appreciate it
Why didn't you use torque specs? Also I thought you were suppose to tighten the last bolt while the suspension is loaded
Very helpful 😭 I wish I knew before taking mine to the shop 😒
Very informative for what it was. Problem is that's not what the search reveled for a REAR UPPER control arm. Not rear and not upper either. ;-)
First! Lol good stuff bro! 🤙
Thanks bro! 🙏
184ft lbs in the back how many pounds in the front?
Your channel is 🔥 i have a Dodge Challenger 2020 and a rock came in chipped my headlight bezel while i was driving and now it’s loose and chipped what do i do?
Thanks man I appreciate it... you can pop it out and get it resprayed if it need color, then pop it back in. Bumper may need removal to access it
I appreciate it, I believe that is the problem with my granddaughters mustang, it pop, or thumps when you turn the wheel back and forth. Seems like only on the right side, Thanks
Did it work? Thanks for watching
You're going to be doing this all over again in a few months. That back bolt needs to be torqued to 184 ft lbs with the suspension loaded
That inner bolt was supposed to have torqued under load as if car was on the ground.
can you share the part numbers for the right and left side??
www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2016,mustang,3.7l+v6,3340758
I don’t remember the part numbers but this is the site I used. Input your car facts and it’ll pull them up
Do I have to lift it up like you or can i do it on jacks?
You can do it on Jack’s , I just have access to the machinery. Makes everything easier 👌
Why haven't you gotten one piece replacement lugnuts? They sell them individually at almost any autoparts store.
You are right, I’ve just been procrastinating lol
if my left lower ball joint is loose. what do i replace. 2016 mustang gt btw. help!
I don’t think they sell just the ball joints you gotta buy the arms , all sold individually with ball joint
Did u have to do an alignment???
I didn’t but I’d recommend it. It’s my personal vehicle so I just strictly did the removal and replace
Lug nuts ain't too expensive
Cash flow low, it’s my car anyway
