If you are broke down with a dead battery this doesn't help much does it. Where am I going to find an ac outlet on a parking lot?. Is there another product that helps in this situation
This is a charger not a jump starter. The charger would be for when your car is at home and you want to charge the battery. If you got stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery you would need a portable jump starter. Check out some of our portable jump starter videos to see which one you like. Thanks for the comment
Actually Gooloo does make a few different car chargers. Go to us.gooloo.com/ They have some pretty cool ones. They have the Gooloo S4, S6 & S10 battery chargers, check em out
I just checked Fanttiks website and it doesn't look like they have a car battery charger at this time, but I'm sure they will probably come out with one
I will double check that. I know it shows the voltage your battery has as it's charging but I am not sure if it shows how much amperage it's charging with.
This unit is very similar to the Noco 5... It's almost a clone in terms of features. The Noco instruction manual is better and it suggests for the repair mode to disconnect the battery from the car. The repair mode puts out a higher Voltage than when it is charging... I think it's around 15-17V..i can't remember, you probably don't want that on your cars electronics. I think the idea is make the battery acid boil/bubble to knock off the hard sulfation crystals. I would maybe remove the battery from inside the car cabin in case there is any leakage.. this is a direct statement from the NOCO manual "THIS MODE USES A HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGE AND MAY CAUSE SOME WATER LOSS IN WET (FLOODED) CELL BATTERIES. BE ADVISED, SOME BATTERIES AND ELECTRONICS MAY BE SENSITIVE TO HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGES. TO MINIMIZE RISKS TO ELECTRONICS, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE USING THIS MODE"
Hulkman claims that this charger, even in repair mode won't hurt your battery. They say the unit will shut off when your battery reaches optimal performance. But as we all know claims are claims. The only true way is to actually test it. I will let you know if my test car is OK or not. But you are correct, in repair mode the charger does let out higher volts. Thanks for the info
Just got the model 1. This thing is sleek. Very well made. Simple to set up and works fantastic. Great product !!!!!
They are very well made. Good luck with it

Does it need to be connected to a outlet to charge car or can I unplug it take to to car and use ?
The Hulkman Sigma 5 needs to be plugged into an outlet to supply power and charge your battery.
It isn't a battery, so it has to be plugged in.
Does Gooloo GT make one? Only because I have the Gooloo GT 4000.
I don't think Gooloo makes a charger, but I will check.

Does it show how many Amps it’s charging with…?!

It's a "Sigma 5" "5" as in 5 amps
Guess how many amps the "Sigma 10" puts out. Nope, it's 10!
