After hearing the names of these rivers, I just wanted to be able to safely swim across the swimming pool at home, let alone take a boat ride on these rivers. These rivers definitely want to make me 'drown' in fear!
I wouldn't want to get anywhere near these remote and scary spots! Imagine the stories these places could tell... Stay safe, folks, and maybe stick to rivers with fewer monsters!
I did a 5 day self-supported trip on the Lacanja river in the Yucatan. We saw crocodiles next to the river and swimming under our boats. Most of the rapids were waterfalls from 3 to 8 meters, and when we flipped (about 5 times each) we got back into our kayaks quickly. Our lead guide broke 2 ribs when we were 50km from any help, and he just had to tough it out. There were a couple of places where our group had to cut out vines and pull out trees to get through. It was an amazing trip through the remote jungle, but it was long days of paddling.

So, the first river is an open sewer?
I don't understand 😊
@@jakewilson4679 The video said that the river is now polluted the closer it gets to its outlet. Higher up, the river it is still clean.
Anybody who thinks human activity doesn't have catastrophic effects on our environment needs to look at the Rio Tinto river.
