- Bigfoot has been updated and I LOVE what they have done. It feels completely new and the creature is relentless! We are supposed to be the one doing the hunting but we soon find out thats not the case!

Oh also, Bigfoot has a health bar that regenerates, if you do enough damage and hit him with traps, he'll lose more health than he can regenerate. So he'll lose health, also, if you find a battery, place it near a bear trap and then shoot it when he's trapped... You'll see how that works.

In case you dont know, the bigfoot health is recovered after eating foods around the map. Not regenerated.

The Bigfoot’s health bar is crazy high for a solo session. It’s like the jolly green giant stepping on a piece of his own sweet corn and you’re the poor little yellow bit of corn without a hope in the world
they have out done themselves this just shows how much they care about the game and i love it it looks so good!

On another note, this game had a MASSIVE update and it’s glorious. When I heard the tree knocks I got goosebumps all over me. The hidden traps, ambience, etc. is just so good. I can’t tell you how shocked I was when he can also get into the houses. I have never been so scared for you. 😂

Nah, that's less plausible than the villagers setting up the traps against bigfoot. That trap is why too sophisticated. Bigfoot is brawn over brains.

Yea, he sets the traps
He, no doubt, has some sense of intelligence. Probably learned by watching humans, mainly hunters and natives, and observed. The fact it attacks at night and uses a sign pole/wooden sticks like a spear/staff shows it learned of weapons too.

These four characters seem so iconic, yet so fitting at the same time.

When you hurt him it looks like half of the damage you do goes into permanent damage that he can't regenerate.
So when you started talking about how you love all of the mysterious disappearances and that type of thing, well there is a podcast on Spotify called Lore, and it kind of goes into all that stuff, so like ever episode is dedicated to a reported story/sighting of a monster, or a mysterious disappearance. You should defiantly check it outs, it’s super cool.
I’m so stressed out watching this lol. Especially when you were by the waterfall fighting him. This got me so worked up. Game looks awesome and it definitely keeps you on your toes.

Woah, major upgrades to the gameplay, UI, graphics and overall feel of it. It makes me squirm in my chair and grab my desk every time the thundering footsteps of the sasquatch approach behind! I really see potential in the direction they're taking this game. Y'know that character Will? I relate to his story and he even looks like me except he has green eyes and I have blue.

The Bigfoot is way to overpowered, it has 3 settings of health. Even the lowest one is 1100 hit points, 9 mm only does 2 to 4 damage a shot
I say it balanced they making you think n work for it

I think 9mm should do a little more damage than that, at least ten, because 9mm is actually a very good defence cartridge, and it’s also capable of doing good internal damage to gorillas, which Bigfoot likely would share similar skin and muscle thickness with.

I don't like the bullet sponginess of these types of game monsters. Like, this game creates a perfect creepy atmosphere, it added actual traps, tactics even, to the enemy, new dangers around the environment, the thrill of the hunt, it does literally everything to make a very interesting hunt for the cryptid... And instead of making all that culminate in this one frantic fight you prepare yourself for all this time they give us an adamantium-lined bulletproof bullet sponge and you have to repeat the hunt like 10 times to kill it? Something's not right by my book.
I mean, there’s a lot of things this dude isn’t doing/ doesn’t know that could make this game a lot faster. Those mechanics make the game a lot faster as well as a lot more on the fly.
Justified by the lore in this case: after all, its a bigfoot! People had been hunting it for generations with zero success, so it is natural to suspect that old good bullets, somehow, wont help much. So you have to be inventive.

@@NinthYard That is true, strategy and proper tools are neat stuff, I like the use of dynamite, batteries and gas cans... But this means there's no point in having guns anyways, it would have been a lot more immersive if we either had no guns at all and use melee which is then justified as crap against sth this big and bulky, or we have guns and they can deal critical dmg, but ammo is as rare find as the guns + misfire chance + probably broken. etc. It is a quest to find these special weapons why not guns too.
@@Galejro that’s also something I dislike, I could see a character who has access to “military grade” weapons and they do actual damage. Don’t really see how to balance him/her though.

This game looks so much better than the last time I’ve seen gameplay of it, it’s nice to see that the Bigfoot model has improved from what it used to be, he used to look like PS1 Harry Potter Hagrid
awhile ago i was hunting bear up in north western Washington in a cabin there was a window in the main room woke up at 5:20 and on the other side of the window there was a head with red eyes just watching me couldn’t see much detail because of the glare of the light inside but in it wasn’t a reflection because i seen it walk off. btw i still went bear hunting and didn’t hear or see it again

Just a tip to get bigfoots health down faster: shoot him with the flare gun instead of actual guns cause they do a ton more damage. (Hope this helps!) :)

Fooster, I've been watching you play all sorts of games for quite some time. I don't think I've ever seen you terrified so consecutively than in the first 15 minutes of this game.
Fooster asking us if we just heard bigfoots screech, is like in the Movie Elf when buddy burps long as hell and goes "DID YOU HEAR THAT!"
Todd Standing's documentary called Discovering Bigfoot is filled with the best footage of bigfoots, especially video three that show a bigfoot running up a hillside.

Crazy how I played this a few weeks ago and uninstalled yet again feeling let down. Then this update drops and the game is literally something else I have to give the devs big props for the turnaround and it looks fantastic. My only gripe yet again is the health of Bigfoot! For those like myself who would prefer to play solo it’s like shooting a brick wall, I understand the beast has to be a bullet sponge but not literally a tank with armor plating lol. Seems that it has no pain threshold and will just keep coming and coming at you until it’s beat you to the ground and then runs off, so in theory it’s impossible to kill it because eventually you will run out if ammo and first aid kits.
My favourite game, and now my god, genuinely terrifying. It’s been YEARS since I’ve watched anything about this game, and holy crap.
You are costing me so much money😂😂I just wanna play every game you play, you make it look so fun😱😂😂

Found a BF track on the edge of Divide, Co behind the animal shelter near Raspberry Mountain / Pikes Peak. It was 14 inches which is size 22-23 in the US (or about the size of shoe a 7 foot tall man like Shaq would wear) and the toes were clearly visible. The heel was almost surface level and the sand was pushed up several inches on the right side of the foot ... so the BF pushed off of the bank with the right-side of it's foot and it's toes sunk at least 3 inches deep in the sand. The "big toe" was long and gorilla-like ... not like the Meldrum prints but more like the Shipton Yeti prints (1951). There is more than one type of BF apparantly.
Your character needs advantages: narrow approaches, traps, flames, unassailable high-ground, explosive-barrels, opportunities for melee onslaught; you need somewhere to set traps after campfires in series, set a bomb, then fire, and a trap, so he catches fire and gets hung-up-lit while you fire every shot from each gun, then lay into him with a hatchet. Are there propane cylinders on the rv for bombs?

Looks interesting, but I find it a little odd that BigFoot doesn't stagger or retreat when hit with much larger weapons, kind of like the alien in Alien: Isolation. He tanks everything which is a little wild.

My theory on those tree knocks is he may be chopping trees with his sign. Small trees sometimes fall on you, as if they were pre-cut. Use your axe and see if you can cut the trees, or re-create the same sound maybe.
