Belt down that steering wheel before you do that drag link. I put in a Moog tie rod and drag link, and a Metalcloak track bar, wish I went all Metalcloak.
It's held up all these years. No death wobble. The only time we had some shake on the front end was when the tires were needing replacement. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video. BTW I have a set of 35’s on my JK with a 4” lift. Would it be necessary for me to upgrade the steering kit too? Like the drag link and tie rod ? I would say my steering feels pretty off, especially when I lock into 4WD.
It's on the back burner right now. Winter hasn't been friendly to work outside. I'll be starting up again in March with it. I have to decide if we can keep it or sell it with our pending road trip. Happy New Year!
I go back and forth still. Some days I'm like this is so smooth. Other times I feel like we get bounced all over the place. I think I have to adjust my sway bar disconnects a bit. I am also going to be adding the metalcloak rear spring correction bracket. I'll have that video out soon. I'm waiting a few more months for an aev lift review. Thanks! Happy New Year!
That’s what I was wondering. All the reviews I’ve read are either it’s great or it’s way to stiff. Nothing in between. My Jeep is my daily driver so I need something capable but comfortable for the amount of road miles I drive. Thanks for getting back to me and I look forward to your future videos and reviews.
It's our only vehicle now as we sold my wife's subi for our rv purchase, so I have to make it work. Lol. My buddy had the lift and loved it and we went wheeling in Uwharrie so it kinda sold me. Maybe it needs to soften with some more miles.
What tire pressure are you running? I only have 33’s on my Jeep at the moment but when they installed them they put them at almost 50 psi and it rode horribly. I dropped them down to 32-35 psi and it’s like butter now.
So I found my tires were toed out too after watching your video, thanks.
The wrench on the drag link helped me so much, thank you!
Awesome!
Loving the gold!

Next time for sure! I'm really happy with the metal cloak. No death wobble or anything.
Hows it holding up Was looking at Synergy so far looking to upgrade mine too ?

1/16” could be a spot of rust.

Can you just measure the oem stuff and match the length and technically should be good?
I have 33x12.50x15 will I be able to run this ? my offset is -44
Thanks for the video! I need to know where you got those brackets for your kc lights on your bumper!
They are the aev brackets from their front bumper. I welded them on my bumper. They work awesome. Thanks for watching!
Nice! What bumper is that?
It's a Jeep J8 Miltary Bumper.

Hey, what happened to the overland trailer? Any progress?
It's on the back burner right now. Winter hasn't been friendly to work outside. I'll be starting up again in March with it. I have to decide if we can keep it or sell it with our pending road trip. Happy New Year!
Does it feel a lot better than stock?
How do you like the metal cloak draglink and tie rod?
Loving it. No issues with them whatsoever.
How is it with 16” wheels?
handles really good. Have had no issues even with towing our jeep behind our motorhome.
How’s that AEV spring lift riding for you? Is it comfortable or stiff?

Right now between 26 to 30 psi. I have 315s on there.
