I’m a machinist of 15 years but when COVID hit I took a job in construction with a high school friend. This has to as tough or tougher then beating a parking garage deck with a 20lb sledge hammer all day (after cutting it) to drop for replacement. I have a friend who drives a garbage truck too some of his stories are just hilarious or awful lol. You two are kicking ass in this video!

This video is a self snitching . Workman’s comp denied. Jumping off the truck while in Motion, double siding and not lookin to see if a car is coming. These of the videos they show us every week on our safety meetings

So there is a truck for paper a truck for plastic ecc .. every single day there is a single collection . So I don’t understand why from you mixed every together ( in the video paper and metal for example )

Hardest job there is - it never ends. It's changed some since I was a kid, but you're still right down there in it.
In my opinion is the toughest job. Physically will destroy anybody.
Much respect I did this for awhile before I became a sweeper operator.

I believe that was the recycling crew. They switched to the garbage truck toward the end.

I don't know how much you guys get paid for doing this, but I'm pretty sure that whatever it is, it's probably not enough.
At the time it was a days pay. So as fast as they can get out they get paid the same. A great incentive to work fast but sucks if you break down
