- When I was in Temelec before I filmed their Labrie Automizer I, filmed an Autocar WXLL Bridgeport front loader on green waste. The driver of that truck was Mr. John Curotto himself. After I filmed him, I got to talking with him and asked if when I found recycling if I could put a GoPro on the truck. He was more than fine with it and I was thrilled. Once I found the recycling driver, Lucas, he immediately asked if I was the guy who wanted to put the camera on the truck. We were both thrilled to see how the footage came out. As I expected the angle I thought came out really well and too my surprise there wasn't too much contamination and any that was in their got taken out. A huge thank you again to Lucas and Mr. Curotto for letting me grab this footage! So, without further ado, here's a GoPro POV on the left arm of a Hal/Pack front loader picking up recycling!

Wow! Really nice footage. Lucas is a really good operator. Sonoma Garbage collectors is always really fun to film.
Thanks! Yeah he’s definitely a great operator and definitely adds to SGCs entertainment!
What a awesome video I enjoy watching your videos I like your videos a lot keep making great videos I like your videos a lot what a cool looking truck
Nice video. Cool to see him pull out the contamination. Really don’t see many drivers go above and beyond like that anymore
Thanks! Yeah, I appreciated that too, that’s something that makes the Curotto can convenient.
Thanks. Not sure exactly how many the population of the town in about 1,600 so I’d say somewhere between 700-1,100 maybe
Awesome video! It's very nice just watching him grabbing and dumping the can inside the curroto can. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
i remembered seeing one of those promotional videos some 10 years ago of them advertising the curotto being ideal for removing contaminates, quite nice actually seeing it being demonstrated here
that's quite an interesting camera angle too, with it being attached to the forks i expected a lot more camera shake but was pleasantly surprised
I was thinking the same thing! I was glad to see he was pulling contamination out of the bucket as well. I was surprised myself that there wasn’t a lot of shaking, then again this is a Heil not an Amrep lol. Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice vid. I assume this is a wxll ?
Thanks! It’s an ACX
@@MendocinoRefuseTrucks oh ok. Is it the hybrid one
No hybrids. You’re thinking of the Parker Runwise PTO and that’s a side loader
@@MendocinoRefuseTrucks oh yea
Awesome video bro! This video is sick
Thank you!
Nice video
Awesome video!! This was really neat to watch, gotta love an awesome operator. I think it is just so cool that the Curotto Can was invented right here in the North Bay, despite the fact that the Midwest may make it seem different lol. Great work as always!
P.S. How do you mount the camera?
Thank you! He’s a great operator! I use a magnet mount.
This is sick video man
Thanks!
Your doing a great job
Thank you!
Hi

Awesome video! I really dig this angle, for sure. I was worried the camera was gonna fall off during the emptying cycles, though lol. Glad it didn't. Very interesting architectural style on these houses in this area, I'm noticing. Great *green* scenery up there, too... of course this was early April, but still. I miss the green sometimes, living in the valley. Again, great work!!
Thank you!! Yeah I noticed this wasn’t an angle quite common on RUclips so I thought I’d try it out. Haha, yeah the valley can seem pretty dry even in April lol. Thanks again!
Awesome videos I'm subscribed youu
