Can’t remember where I ruled out heretic when I was shopping. They look fabulous. I ended up ordering gen 3 Axial, for my first OTF. I think I know what my second will be. though over 500 bucks sounds obscene, 200 is indeed a steal
Just got 1 for xmas. Usually I only get auto knives made by Italian makers, toggle switch very reliable. It seems reliable and well made. As a busse, stryder, randall fan, I like it. 😎 my 90s spyder co. Is going into retirement.
I like them. I have two thus far and I will purchase more. One of the two I have is a Heretic Manticore-X in Magnacut. Outstanding OTF! And the branding and serial number doesn't bother me.
I agree about the branding. Maybe they could do it in black & you could still read it. I like OTFs & only have a few different types. Thanks for sharing! 😺⚔️👍🏻
Hi I have a few autos, Microtech and Protech. Like you, at first I was excited about them and after a while.... ehh.... they sort of lost their appeal. I usually carry folders. I think I want to give Guardian Tactical a try.... when I find one that I like.
I use my OTF everyday, I just find them easy to operate. I also live in California but never been asked to show my knife. I think they are cool but also quick and effective.
Hi Dirk. BTW skateboards are definitely a thing still. Nephew just had a pretty viral video go up where a RUclipsr was teaching him a trick and my nephew developed a new trick by accident. So still a genre.

SOG used to always put “law enforcement use only” and a few other “tacticool” messages on there autos. This definitely reminds me of that

Do you have a Colossus? I am interested in those two models. Does the X have the same firing mechanism as the Colossus?

I'm on the edge for one of these for 200. I have Benchmade autos no otf. Ti flippers are it but never had otf. I should just do it 😅
