Hi, could you let me know what date you applied please and the date your payment was accepted? It's taking longer than I expected so I'd appreciate if I can estimate the current timeline.
@@gaia8uranus for me it took 31 working days (~ 6 weeks) from when they received the payment till I got my approval in principle. The process is a bit longer but if you email them, they'll let you know if there were any issues.
@@UncleNabs Just seeing this, thanks so much, that should be this week hopefully because of public holidays. Seems like it's about 31 days for most people, Promise was lucky I guess.

Thanks so much it’s very impactful, I want to ask if I can use my Naira Account statement for the process must it be Dollar account, and scanning the international passport should we include all the visa stamp on the passport as well meanwhile we should scan the whole 32pages
Yes you have to scan the whole passports pages including the stamped pages. And yes you can show you naira account statement, any currency at all, it just needs the Euro equivalent

Yes I paid for my flight when it got to the premium visa stage because at that point you're already sure of your approval.. but you submit the flight details online and send just your passport.

I've never tried opening a bank account here because I do not need them. Revolut and Wise are enough for me

Tuesday made it a week since I submitted my application for the digital nomad visa, but I haven't gotten any response from them. I just want to know if it took this long for you to get a response or if there's something else I should do.
@@tolulopeadedoyin5468 check the file size of the documents you submitted if it's more than 5mb. They won't receive your application if any of your uploaded documents is more than 5mb.

Yes you'd need marriage certificate

You need 3 months bank statements. I do not know if you can study with the nomad permit, but you can as well just get the study permit instead

I applied for the visa on Tuesday night which they received me on Wednesday morning listing the documents I should submit, I have submitted on Thursday mid night, but they haven't replied to me, how long does it take for them to reply this time
It might take a couple of days for them to revert to you with the next steps

Of course you should land Malta with your passport containing your visa, you’d pass through immigration on the first port of entry into the Schengen zone
Miss! How did you pay the 300 euro fee through your account? Cause I guess account like savings can’t make international payment and if you use dollar account, how do calculate the estimate conversion rate? Thank you
I paid from my dollar domiciliary account. You can check the rate on google but you just need to put down in the transfer slip that you're paying 300 Eur. The bank would take the equivalence from your account based on the current market rate.

I don't think you can study full time with the nomad permit, you’d need study permit for that. It’s not compulsory to keep the same job, however remember your job needs to be from a different country.
I explained in the previous nomad video that you cannot get PR from the nomad permit since you’re not a tax resident in Malta.

As a CEO, if your work can be performed fully remote then yes you’re eligible to apply provided you meet the income requirement
Please Ma'am, for a business person, do they mean I will need to have a visible €2700 at the end of each month or they meant, if all my incomes (credit alert) are calculated, it should sum up to that amount though it's no longer there in the account?

Correct. The 2700 EUR doesn’t have to remain in your account each month. They just need to see your inflows and confirm that it enters your account monthly from your business.

How long has it been? it takes a couple of days but if it takes over a week you should email them for confirmation

If you meet the digital nomad requirements then you might. Though I'm wondering why you'd want to do that
In our forms, my employer didn't sign, will that be approve. But we have enough fund for the relocation
If you're an employee, then your employer is meant to sign. That's the knowledge I have there, but since you've submitted, you should just wait for their response

No you’d only need to give the employer to fill their section and sign. You wouldn’t need business certificate anymore. If they haven’t responded after some days, you should send a follow up email to them.

Hi, you can travel with them surely as long as you meet the requirements, and bear in mind that you need to prove additional income per dependent. Also, make sure to email them for all the details

This might depend on some factors including their work load and period. Mine took about 3 days.

Yes I completed my first payment via bank transfer and the second payment via Credit card (dollar).
I filled the insurance form for laferla they replied saying I have to be in malta b4 they can approve my health insurance plan. Pls is it how it works

Congratulations on your admission. As someone coming through the study route to Malta, you're not eligible to bring dependents with you.
Sure you can go through visitor/Schengen visa. Also, check out online on Schengen visa acceptance rate and requirements.

If you are a freelancer then you do not need cac but if you’re a business owner then you'd have to get it.

As long as you can operate your business from any location then yes you’re eligible. Traveling to different countries doesn’t matter.
