  • Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema says expropriating land in SA will allow the landless majority to reclaim their dignity. Malema took on Clem Sunter, one of SA’s most prominent authors and scenario planners, in a two-round debate organised by the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Cape Sun on Friday, February 12.
    the primary aim of SA's liberation is to reclaim land and wealth

      No doubt Malema is a worrier for the black nation of people. South Africa a big disappointment to the black nation of people. Black peoples in South Africa shouldn’t have to rewarded criminals out of Europe they’ve done the unthinkable unimaginable wicked evil acts for hundreds of years has terrorist conquerors in the black nation no rename South Africa. They should’ve expelled all terrorist criminals invaders out of black America for the same time equal to the time of the invaders about 5 hundreds years which would discourage people with these types of barbaric intentions against the peace loving black nation of people.

    Mr Malema needs an opportunity, just one opportunity. He can lead South Africa to what it has to be,he can speak and tell the truth with no fear of any relationship, that's what I like about him.
    He expresses himself freely,his intention is to deliver the message and the true message if it happens that someone gets hurt that is his problem then because Malema tells the truth .✊✊ Juliass I salute you sir.

Whatever you do try your best to on an estate and land everywhere.

      You nailed it, what do you think grew white America, land ownership, that is why slavery existed in the first place, land was shared amongst people who later had need for labour to build and till on the land that gave america wealth. White America and its generation are benefiting from the sweat, blood and tears of black people, yet they claim there is no racism as a defence to their evil deeds. The same is what is going on in every land on the continent, they want a piece of the land and the resources therein, why don't Africans own land in Anglosaxon territories? but they came to your territory and forcefully took your land and are holding claim to it. Trust me, you will be suprised that some monarch in Europe or government already has documented ownership of that land cos that is the way they claimed Africa. The land and the resources therein both human, mineral and material were purchased by monarchs and the powers that colonized until this day. The reality still is that, if you try to fight them they look for some situation to keep us busy and disunited such as insurgency, war, tribal and communal conflicts, rare diseases which are just biological weapons, media attacks and misrepresentation of narratives etc... the list goes on. The disunity of Africans in and around Africa is our demise, its to the benefit and advantage of the enemy, marley clamoured for the unity of Africa and they nearly killed him for it , cos they knew he was a voice.....AFRICA UNITE!!!!!!!, we are rich but yet poor, we should wake up to the game been played

    Communism can not succeed without stifling freedom. Human beings are inherently capitalist, they prefer to hold onto what they have crafted. It is better to ride on this natural characteristic to create wealth. After this wealth is realized, all must be goaded to lift those who are disadvantaged in a meaningful way, by the state. Communism will never, neveeeer, take South Africa anywhere. Address historical injustices for starters. Ie. expropriation of land without compensation and move to other areas finance ,Education etc. Let citizens be the custodians of what they have judiciously acquired or worked for. Let the government have full control of strategic investments then encourage everyone to create wealth under its watch. I think this is a socialist state. Even America provides food stamps and housing, it is just not doing enough of it. Malema embrace this advise and you will be president after Ramaphosa. After which Finland will look like a pale shadow of south Africa You have what it takes.

      @graham jones When it comes to white ownership of Africa it is *"capitalism"* but when it comes to black ownership of Africa, you call it *"communism"* and yet both capitalism and communism are alien to Africa. Both are the same cancer,; and both are European in origin!

    His passion and conviction are powerful. His ability to inspire people with speech will make him a successful politician. Like most politicians he is talking about things which he doesn't understand. Grand, idealistic speeches about change will inspire people but it won't put food in mouths, education in heads, or money in the hands of poor people.
    The solution he is talking about sounds a lot like Robert Mugabe's solutions for Zimbabwe. What makes him think that the result of his plans will be any different for S.A?
    If he looked right beside Zimbabwe he can see the results of a different solution. Seretse Khama started a long term plan that has set up Botswana with political stability, low corruption, and economic growth.
    We don't need a revolution. We need to learn from the past.

      Am from Botswana dont compare the incomparable, Botswana never dealt with this mess evil colonial exploitation that was happening in other African countries, the British thought there was nothing but desert land so they left us alone to keep our traditional fabric and self governance through our traditional institutions which in turn helped us a big deal when we discovered diamonds, but by then the British were gone,the other thing is we learnt a big deal from our fellow African brothers fighting colonialism how to avoid some mistakes

      We are in the process of doing so. Listen to Malema carefully, he talks of taking the land through enactment of the law. Malema, leading the EFF in Parliament, has already started that process and a motion has been passed to ammend the constitution to allow government to expropriate land without compensation. The man continues to keep his promise.

    • @musajohannessithole8970
      @musajohannessithole8970 4 года назад

      @jan viljoen Cry as loud as you can, we are another generations of Africans. We know what we are doing. Even the banks know the kind of spieces we are. We defeated the banks in their endeavour to block the EWC motion. There is nothing they can do now. If they gave loans using land as security, that was at their own risk. How can they allow people who do not own land to borrow money against the land which does not belong to them. After all, they also played a role in colonial and apartheid systems. The banks are equally guilty. I think by now, they are aware of what they are dealing with. So don't worry, we are in charge and will easily with what in your view are obstacles towards us archiving our goal.

    • @musajohannessithole8970
      @musajohannessithole8970 4 года назад

      @jan viljoen Apartheid is a system which was created by enacting laws of Parliament, there was no way it could have ended with the unbanning of liberal movements, neither would it end by Blacks voting or being voted into Parliament. The only way to end colonial and apartheid legacy, was to enact laws and implement policies to deal specifically with the economic structures created by those Two evil system. Unfortunately our elderly leaders in the ANC missed that opportunity by engaging White South Africans as if they were engaging humans. Those of us who lived with White South Afticans and subjected to daily humiliation, know how heartless White South Africans are and that no warmth gesture of reconciliation by Blacks would change their hatred of Blacks as well as their determination to protect illgained priviledges. Hence we defied the introduction of Neoliberal policies to the deaf ears of our leaders because they were deceived by the supposedly repented White South Africans. It is those Neoliberal policies which have been implemented for over 25 yrs; your GEAR, ASGISA, National Development Plan, etc sponsored by White Supremacists which brought South African Economy to its knees todate. No socialist nor Communist policies have ever been tried in SA. Capitalism failed SA. SAA and ESKOM have gone under. There is continuous negative growth in the economy. Why shy away from the fact that capitalism failed SA. It is clear to everyone now that it's about time we introduce Socialis Policies, starting with the Expropriation of land without compensation. Anyway the government no longer has money to compensate anyone. Only few of those leaders who do not know a White South Aftican well, are apologetic to them and think that White SA can be changed, are left. It is our generation which is now left and it is taking over from the old cohort. Hence we made sure that the EWC motion is passed by the Fifth Parliament. The Six Parliament shall finalize the EWC process. It's only now that we are beginning to introduce Socialist Policies and we are certain that they will eventually work.

      @jan viljoen If we don't have jobs and you are happily having one, why do you seem so worried about our wellbeing. After all you don't care andvyou never cared about our welfare. So stop pretending. Just let us continue putting the land under state control, or is ours to mess up. Since you have many options, use them.
