Fix that door rattle! Ford door striker bushing fabrication and replacement.

Does your door rattle when closed? Likely the striker bushings are broken and/or missing.
I'll show you how to fabricate some replacements and repair the strikers.

That’s just a good idea, was it pvc pipe? How long did it hold before the pipe worn down again?

The nut in the hard point that the stud screws into is loose. Does anyone know if that is normal? I am afraid the thing is going to fall if I take the stud out. I don't want to have to disassemble the interior to get to the thing.

It’s normal. It’s designed to be adjustable. It can move around but won’t fall out.
