    I have a question: How can a Jewish race belong to a specific country, such as the Jews of Yemen? Does this mean that there are Yemenis who converted to Judaism or Jews who mixed with Yemenis?

    • @ASamuel89
      @ASamuel89  Месяц назад +16

      Jewish groups, in most cases, are the outcome of jews from Judea mixing with other groups to some level and therefore they are genetically different from the non Jewish population in the country they lived, for example, a polish Jewish is very different from non Jewish polish, and also there is some similarity between most Jewish groups

    • @noxgabriel5987
      @noxgabriel5987 22 дня назад

      Just because the Jewish have been around for so long, tracing back to the Israelites 3.5 thousand years ago, theres genetic mixing as well as regional diversification eg. skin colour changes because of how long its been. For example, Jews were taken as slaves by Rome after the siege of Jerusalem, after earning their freedom most settled in Rome, which is a reason Ashkenazi Jews are partly southern european genetically.

    I did my test before the new update and my results are 95.5% Iberian, 3.4% Ashkenazi Jewish and 1.2% Baltic. I want to do another test with the update to discover which type of Ashkenazi I am concretly, to know if I have jewish ancestors (USSR) or if I'm xueta (europe). I'm from Mallorca, xueta is the type of jewish from the spanish island- Being honest, the baltic percentage I don't know why I have it, I need to investigate more about it.
