The engine bay on my C5 is pretty clean- absolutely spotless in comparison to this, but I'd like to really get it .... super clean before summer. Maybe I'll give this a try. I've just always been skeptical of taking a hose to the engine, being that it's an older car and a lot of the electrical components are weathered and not as protected.

Drill brushes w/ extra long bit extensions & a cordless drill- that’s how I got @ the harder to reach stuff

Just take your time and be very mindful. I’ve had no issues since. Good luck my friend.
