LOL If by sedentary you mean reading more books, I have to encourage that. 🤣 I get so much more reading done when I don't have to mow the lawn. Mind sharing the exercise channel?
@BookZealots I HOPE now that winter is finally here I can read more. LOL The channel I use is for all abilities from chair exercises to giving it your all. Jules is really good and puts a big emphasis on balance and injury prevention. youtube.com/@improvedhealth?si=W0SIuxkgxOKwpBd1
The timing of your video is so good. Just this morning I toured a gym and signed up for a membership. My goals are to be more active to have more energy and to lose about 40 lbs that have creeped on over the past couple years. I am trying to cut back on processed sugars as I increasingly notice energy crashes after eating those sorts of foods. Thanks for the video - I will look for your video next Friday.
Oh that is amazing. I hope you enjoy your gym and I think it's wonderful you recognized the energy crashes. Those foods are so tasty and addicting. I think it's harder to get away from the processed foods that aren't really considered as junk food. (breakfast sausage is my weakness, but it's so expensive and that is why I don't have it now). Thank you so much for sharing your plans for more energy and I appreciate your encouragement. Much success to you and your goals.
I’m in! I am already gluten free and after going through a low fodmaps protocol I have certain foods to avoid. And I want to shed some pounds and work on flexibility and strength training. Also better sleep! Loved the disclaimers!
Hooray~ Well done on your current progress/success as well as for your goals. Sleep is so important and I think it's one of those things that is forgotten or not connected to better health. LOL Thank you. I'll let my son know you enjoyed his disclaimers. =) 💗
Thank you Ms. Erion for your support and encouragement. I appreciate you making public and reaching out to others who may want to join or just may want to support us. Yes, I plan on making Friday's the day that I will post a weekly update on my diet and weight loss(if any!) . I believe that I have overcome my craving for ice cream but I am still downing too many Cokes a day. And sugar! Once I get my sugar intake under control I believe I can make this happen. I've had trouble using the bathroom since I retired because I do not drink enough water or exercise. I eat plenty of fiber but without fluids the waste will not push through and it can be pretty..no, ugly painful! Thanks again, I appreciate your support and efforts. -James & Bella
Great job on cutting out the ice cream. I've heard cutting soda is hard. I have a story about that for next Friday. The crazy part about fiber is that it can have the opposite effect from what we're wanting. It was so good seeing you walking today! 🚶♂
Hi, hello and thank you. I let Prometheus know and he says "THANK YOU!" =) We had a relaxing weekend but then my husband gave me bad news and then it became stressful. I need to figure some things out, but... it's life. Oh! I mention you in my Dec tbr video regarding a book I'm blaming you for. LOL It's all good though. I'm hoping to finish it this month.
Oh no, I feel badly for your family. Do you have any thoughts on why they suffer from insomnia? My brother is ALWAYS on his phone. Even when he was visiting me. It's crazy.
@BookZealots I'm not sure. My mother has always had problems sleeping. Her entire life she's gotten maybe 5-6 hours of sleep a night. And she's 75, so there weren't cell phones and personal computers readily available then. With some of them, I'm sure overuse of technology plays a part.
@@CourtneyReads Oh my, I know there are some high energy people, like Edison, who got by, can get by, on very little sleep and I wouldn't say that's the same as insomnia. But if she wants to sleep and can't, =( Has she seen a doctor about this? And if so did anyone have recommendations? For my brother, he eats garbage and too late (eats all the time, every two hours), and he can't sleep. He said he slept well while visiting us though. =)
But bread is so good. Lol oh and I weigh myself everyday as well. Lol I love that James has inspired this. Look forward to updates... That medical disclaimer sounded legit to e. 😂
LOL I'm not even a big bread eater, but occasionally I like it. I had pumpernickle bread yesterday with butter and of course I gained. I agree~! I'm so glad James made this public. It's always more fun doing this as a community too and I'm really looking forward to seeing James reach his goal, and learning what works for others too. Thank you. I'll let Prometheus know. When I told him my plans, he started the "disclaimer" and I asked him if he'd do it for me. 🤣
💜💙💚💛🙋♂️🎉

Yes! I started my favorite exercise channel yesterday and continued this morning. When I don't have to mow the lawn I get very sedentary. 🤗❤

I'd love to join in on talking about health issues. Thanks for this video!!
Awesome! Thank you for joining in. Please feel free to share information that helps you or that you think might be helpful to the rest of us.
I'm not an insomniac (though I come from a family of them), but I am trying to become better about using my phone. I use it more than I would like to.
