The two most important factors when considering premium economy seats are the chair pitch and width. The other factors such as priority boarding, upgraded menu, complementary drinks, etc. are pretty much standard for almost all airlines.
JAL has the absolute best premium seats 42" how has this been missed?
JAL is tha best airlines all good👍
JAL at 42” seat pitch is excellent. 2-4-2 configuration.
Awesome 👍
I am surprised that EVA is not mentioned. Many believe that their Premium Economy is better than most airline's Business Class.
I agree.
Actually, I believe that EVA started this category of seat class many years before it becomes popular among airlines only recent years.
Yes! I had eva , China , Singapore airline premium class , I think eva is the best one
Ce n'ai pas grave EVA est conseillé par les agences de voyages mon fils va voyager avec eux dans 2 mois paris taipei
For me the only good PE seat is the one which does not recline into my space (shell seat) As shown here the new Swiss an New Zealand PE. The rest I don't care about. I've flown EVA PE don't remember anything remarkable not even in their business..
Thanks for the vids, helps people like me who don’t fly much 😊
that was awesome!
I Am Not Agreed With About China Airlines Should Not Have So Low Rating. Thanks For Great Info
JAL is significantly better than quite a few names on this list. Especially Delta.
I agree and with JAL premium you get business class lounge access, not many airlines have that!
The issue I have is there are significant differences even within the same airline and it literally gets down to the individual plane. Not every aircraft within the same airline is configured the same
The funny thing is that once you make top status in an airlines rewards the P.E. class is a great option. I already have an amenity kit bag, tsa- precheck & lounge access. If ✈️ is less than 8 hrs I can do P.E & save 💰
I’ve flown AIrNZ premium economy twice pre and post Covid and have just flown Emirates business class Melbourne to Paris via Dubai.
IMO AIrNZ food and entertainment system are way better than Emirates.
Most major airlines Premium Economy seats are pretty much the same on pitch and width. While a comfortable seat is nice, a lot must also be said about service. I generally fly PE on Virgin between Miami and London and have always had a good experience. The cabin crew are always pleasant.
Delta?? Mostly older planes and less than enthusiastic flight attendants. Have you actually flown on the airlines you ranked?
You're missing the airline that was voted best Premium Economy in the world for 2023: Eva Air.
I can see this clip is VERY SUBJECTIVE without any objective clue
Surprised Cathay Pacific don't get a mention, their A350 premium economy is a good product. Have flown it a few times.
Agree, but there PE is way so expensive compared to others..like almost close to a price of a business class already.
@@josephtumala4897I flew Premium Economy LHR-HKG - got a good deal £850 single. Can be £1500+
Have flown Singapore Airlines Premium Ecnomy long haul (Sydney - London) and can vouch for their high reputation.
I just flew from Auckland to Singapore with Air N Z and Singapore Airlines from Sin. to Paris. Air N Z is the best for the service on board .
ive only flown Economy a few times from Australia to UK. But wow, i can see how Emirates is No.1 - getting an amenities bag and food similar to Business class... i like that idea. great video
I’ve flown BA PE four times and I thought it was better than Air New Zealand’s PE which was pretty mundane.
SQ’s PE product doesn’t have any entry to the lounges. 😅 Silverkris is reserved for business class passengers.
Pro tip: With clever planning, you can use your Premium Economy cost to buy points and convert them into Business Class seats.
You mean use the points to upgrade on the current flight after purchasing? Not a future flight? Good idea if it works. Thx
Thanks for your advice.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I think JAL premium economy has the most spacious premium economy right now. They have the highest pitch of 42 inches!
fully agree
What happen to JAL/Turkish Airways? The newer the planes, the more expensive the seats...reason Philippines Airline is so reasonable..
Honestly Japan airline have much better premium economy seat than any of seat picked up in the video
Hello. Positions #3 (Delta) and #2 (Virgin) were a huge surprise, not to use the word "suspicious"! Was this a personal list or was this taken from a survey?
Adendum: Virgin Atlantic do not fly to Brazil at this moment, with future services due to start only in 2024.
JAL🇯🇵 should be in top5
nic video but where is finnair? and KLM?
New American Airlines would make it in
Sadly there was no seat reclining information, that is very important in the decision, between Business class or Premium economy
The last time I checked Emirates do not offer Premium Economy on the B777 from-to Ho Chi Minh so that leg to London would be in Economy. So, I'll be sticking with business.
Yes Eva air is okay and I am surprised that Thai airways isnr5 mentioned as both of these airlines have excellent premium economy clsss service.
Air Newzealand seats reclined inside the pod. Which means you wont be bothered by previous row reclining!
what is your opinion about premium economy class of British Airways
No EVA Premium which is exceptional
You lost credibility with me when you named Delta at #3. Absolutely no way is DL's Premium Economy better than NZ, QF, SQ...
looks 5x worse than the Swiss ones
I really don't like Delta but most if not all their fleet on long haul has PE seating. Swiss and Air France don't on many transatlantic flights , especially from east coast hubs.
China Airlines seats and headphones were good, but I didn’t get a pre boarding drink on my flight and my meal was an economy class meal.
Delta?
Where is Eva air they won best Asia premium travel award flown with them many times
delta shouldnt be on this list….they serve the same food in both economy and premium economy unlike the other airlines you listed
Air New Zealand for me.
I have flown Eva Air & SINGA₱ORE AIR many times before going to SF U.S.A. & AUSTRALIA..But I didnt know there is such thing as ₱REMIUM ECONOMY SEATS.. I wonder how much is the difference in price In the standard ECONOMY CLASS.?
Because it is the Emirates promotion...
swiss seems one of the best
so surprised that Virgin Atlantic is in the front of the row. Their planes are getting tired.
Singapore Airlines for me
Just flown Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy from Atlanta to Manchester. Sadly not the best aircraft I have flown on. Staff advised it’s the oldest aircraft in the fleet. Seats falling apart , toilets broken. Sadly I wouldn’t fly Virgin again in the future. I have messaged them but had no reply.
How comes that Swiss is mentionned here? When I look at these seats I get back ache.
They should offer a massage for overseas flights.
Surprised Qatar didn't make the list... Their Business Class is off the charts, so I assumed their PE was as well....
They don't have pe
What about Lufthansa,British Airways ?
And Cathay Pacific too
Where is the video and report on VS's Premium Economy seating? You walked through their PE cabin (about one second of video) but you commented only on VS's Economy cabin and filmed a few seconds of its seating.
Need to fly to toronto canada in mid july on cheap days as a pensinor family in yyg and yul canyou advise please itinerary have lots of retirement time and don,t mind staying overnitape thanks pat
I'm leaving in 2 weeks to go around the world. All in economy. If I booked Premium economy I wouldn't be going anywhere as the cost is way too prohibitive.
Am so surprised Delta is on the list, not to mentioned stood at 2nd place. Lol
DELTA????????????????????
Flown delta premium economy not worth it it was just a exit row seat in economy wouldn't fly them again
Emimentes
Swiss is not the national carrier of Switzerland. It used to be Swissair which went bankrupt. Swiss is what remained and it belongs to Lufthansa
Yes it’s part of the Lufthansa group. I’m Swiss and it irks me that the airline is not owned by us.
You missed United tool
No idea how or why Virgin are in this list. Maybe at some point in the past, but not now.
Virgin Atlantic once outright lied to me, will never fly with them again.
In my opinion, Delta's Premium Economy shouldn't make it on the list, let alone be ranked number 3!!!!
United Airline's and AA's Premium Economy are so much better.
Virgin blows, food is awful. KLM was better in every way. Took premium cross atlantic flights on both last month.
No Cathay Pacific?
I had the worst experience on Air France premium economy Paris to LA. The seats were identical to Economy which is already very tight. I am shocked that Air France is on your list.
Maybe was it an older plane?
I recently experienced Air France PE on their latest 777-300ER and PE seats were definitely way wider than in economy, leg room was top notch (I'm a 5'11 woman)
Highly suspicious choice of airlines, on the one hand, and of the ranking, on the other hand. No mention of Air China, Etihad, or Alitalia, for instance - and the latter has the best seat (and service), I've experienced (Miami to Rome on my way to Tel-Aviv) in Premium Economy.
I agree with the choice of NZ, SQ, EK and ANA of course - but the others (Air France but no Lufthansa?), and the rankings... come on, now.
Honestly, am not sure if your review is accurate and true, I didn't see Emirates, and to say China Airlines, Air France, Qantas ...hmmmm I am not quite sure nor agree
I traveled premium economy on SQ sin to ams and and was denied lounge access don't believe everything you see here!!!
Dont get access to lounges in air nz pe
I have flown Qantas and Singapore airline’s premium economy and have to say Qantas is far superior.
Seven hundred seventy sevens?
Emirates has a fleet of 266 airplanes 148 Boeing 777s and 118 a380s
Air NZ Premium Economy Doesnt give you access to the lounges.
bro emirates goes to norway
How about Qarer Arways
Qatar don't have premium economy at the moment
Not Delta!!
Delta should number 10 not 2..
Delta should not be in top 10
Singarore there is mo priority check in good th e same as economy only difference than economy is the seat and leg room
The best is QANTAS by far
Champagne on arrival better food prority check in
Uou are WRONG
What is this music?
Wrong. Air Premia is the best with 42 inch pitch - the longest in the world.
Your credibility down the drain placing Delta PE in 3rd.
This is nonsense. No Emirates or EVA Air...and pronouncing ANA as Ahna? It's A-N-A. Also, these are just stock photos. Whoever produced this video has probably never been on an airplane.
I flew Singapore Airlines PE a380 in May and it was fucking shithouse. Just about equal to economy from about 29 years ago. Night flight to Melbourne no drinks offered and the worst pile of shit offered for breakfast. They might as well as laughed at us as we got off the plane: suckers.
i disagree with china airline..i have bad experience with their premium economy ..no manu and only serve water
You got Air NZ totally wrong. Is this an AI generated video?
China airlines should be in the top 3
Maybe this channel will be good one day when it gets rid of the crappy robot voice narration. Until then, this channel will be an economy class-level travel vlog.
Really Delta and Swiss… where is Eva Air which is way more comfortable and service is great!
Swiss is good.
Meaningless BS
Swiss hard shell premium economy is the worst! You only slide down thus your seat pitch is none. What’s so great about that? Looks nice but I will not want to sit in one ever again. Also, there’s no separation with the economy section. It’s much better to just sit in economy by the bulkhead with extra legroom.
