We finished up this ready to ride Jeep LJ for Jeremy Knight and Wendy Knight.
We started the build off using one of our Jeep LJ Chassis that was set up with a Sport Cage and shock mounts for coil overs and bypass shocks.
We kept it simple with an LS engine, turbo 400 transmission, and an Atlas transfer case. It had to be something that was reliable but still had good power when he needed it.
For Axles, we used a set of Crane Axle Ready To Ride 14 bolts with Magnum Knuckles, Big Bell RCV's, Light Weight Brake Kit, ARB's and 40 spline shafts.
Hiding under the blue paint is a 100% aluminum tub. We massaged it to get the right body lines around the tires. Then when the fast back cage sat down in that long tail section of the LJ it was apparent that we were headed in the right direction.
The chassis is built around using Radflo 2.0 coil overs and 2.5 three tube bypass shocks. We are able to get use of 100% of the shock travel on these builds and they ride and drive great.
We added a Currie sway bar to the rear and it gives the Jeep a comfortable feel when driving.
The seats we used came from PRP and they are outfitted with their own heating elements.
We built a custom fuel cell that sits low in the tub close to the seats. We backed that up with a tool box that is the same height. So if needed, that can act as additional storage space on top of the cell & tool box. Behind the tool box we have just enough room for an electric cooler to ride.
The custom built dash was hand made from 16 gauge aluminum, and went straight to powder coat without any body filler in it whatsoever. It houses a Holley gauge pod, Lowrance GPS with integrated back up camera, Rugged Radio set up, switches from Switch Pro , after market heater unit, Winters Shifter, and cup holders. BUT, the best part of all is the glove box we added for Wendy. We even threw her an extra USB charge port in there.
We could go on and on about the specs of this rig and it was definitely built with the best of the best when it came to parts selection. The stand out of this build however, is the overall package. No one part stands out and screams "look at me!". It all works together. The look, feel, and the over all attitude that this jeep has is hard to explain. But we can't thank Jeremy and Wendy enough for choosing us for their build. Now is where the real fun begins.
It is time to hit the trails!!!!!

If you don’t have $90k, plus the cost of your Jeep, don’t even think about it:
But like the person above said, if you don’t know the cost and have to ask, it’s probably out of your budget. If you look at this rig, and have no clue what’s on it and how much those things cost, you’re no where near being able to afford it.
