  • Check out Ryan’s full build video. His 2006 1 ton LJ sits on 40’s and Fox coil-overs. We built him a 3 link front and 4 link rear setup. This one came out really clean. Remember, we build sell all of the link components, trusses, shock towers and suspension brackets to do this to yours! @genrightoffroad #wfoconcepts #1tonlj #40sarethenew35s

    Incredible. If I had to pick one vehicle for the rest of my life and never touch another this would be the one.

      @@wfoconcepts curious as to why you all didn’t go with high lines? How much lift does this have? I’m debating high lines vs these for 37’s or 38’s. What do you recommend?

    How about some "common" man builds?

  • @Jarod1941
    @Jarod1941 2 года назад

    Why not build it right (and easy) with the GenRight Tracer kit?
    Missing out on the hi-line fenders is a boo-boo. They're easy to install and worth the time and investment. Now he's paid for fenders he'll want to replace and have to spend more money.
    The rear shock towers are vertical but the axle twists back at an 18° arch as it compresses. Those shock mounts will be stressed and the uptravel will be limited by binding.
    Nice try, but next time, if you want it done properly, leave the build to GenRight.

    110” wheelbase and 1 tons? Why not just Build a truck that already has all that?

    • @brycemaggio6144
      @brycemaggio6144 2 года назад +1

      Stretched wheelbase. Approach and departure angles. Proper 4 linked triangulated suspension geometry. 14” of usable travel front and rear. And depending on T case a ≈78/1 crawl ratio is why

      @@brycemaggio6144 you can do ALL that with a Full-size….

    • @brycemaggio6144
      @brycemaggio6144 2 года назад +3

      @@colew.5956 sure, but then you deal with all the cons of building a full size rig. Maneuverability goes way down because of the sheer size of a full size rig. If you stretch it, like you should for approach and departure, then you’d end up removing or bobbing the bed anyways, and decreasing the break over angle to the point you’d belly out your 3-4 ton truck. Much, much more sheet metal on a full size truck and it’s not the same thickness they used to use for pre 06 Jeeps, not to mention the 3/16” armor all the way around that they don’t make for trucks. Doors don’t come off, more sheet metal/ glass damage. There’s a lot of reasons bro, full size trucks are dope! I drive a dodge power wagon and love the sucker! But I’m also building a jeep crawler because I know my truck has limitations off road
