What a fantastic way to say goodbye to Canada, and Welcome Home! I loved the beautiful yet treacherous waters of Niagara. Good to have you back, for sure! It's been great.
I was there for the fifth time right after Easter this year.Ice was still in the water. Here is a tip for the Hornblower/Maid of the Mist Ponchos: Tie the bottom in a knot near the knees to keep it from blowing around. Nothing worse than soggy pants! Great video Carpetbagger!
Great video of the Falls! I have family there on the USA side and Buffalo. We love our visits there. Cave of the Winds is also a great experience also.
That was beautiful...!! Glad you didn't have any trouble getting back into America . I'll have to share this with my daughter and son in law . My son in law in from Buffalo New York . Thanks Carpetbagger...!!
Hi Jacob, awesome tour and vlog at the Niagara Falls, the rainbow is very pretty! Glad you enjoyed a nice boat trip to the Greatest Niagara Falls in Canada!
i know Im asking randomly but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I love any assistance you can offer me
@Zayne Maxwell thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I've been to Niagara Falls 3 times in my life, the earliest one being in the early 80s (USA side), once in 1989 (Canada side), and the last time in 2011 (USA side). I don't think I've ever been on a boat tour like you have, though; it looked like a great experience! Watching your video brought back good memories, thank you. Every now and then they "turn off" the falls to clean up the rocks underneath. Sad to think that the bedrock recedes in time and really the falls of today looks different from the falls of the past. In the far future, it will look even more different.
Jacob, they sell inexpensive waterproof pouches for cameras. They look like zip lock bags, but have a spot for the lens. The brand is DiCAPac. Easy to pack.
I loved going on the boat with you & seeing the falls. I've really enjoyed your videos in Canada, the haunted places of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Haunted House you were in last yesterday. You truly made my day! God love you Jacob, & Christy(?) too! I grew up in Pittsburgh & only made it as far as Lake Erie. I never seen the falls & now I have through your eyes . I didn't get wet like you..... lol.
Ohhhh cool! I've been waiting for you to make it to the falls in your Canada adventure! It looked amazing on video but I'll bet it was many times better being there in person! I'll have to add this to my bucket list!
I used to run up into Canada alot back in the 1990"s .Drove 18 wheeler ...And though I loved it up in Canada . I was always Happy Happy Happy when I crossed back into America
Jacob's like Jub Jub these days: "He's everywhere u wanna be!" Those were some hefty wings u were muching on there at vid's end. Haven't seen that many rainbows since hiking Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy, or plastic ponchos since our 4th of July Rocket Boat ride at S.F.'s Fisherman's Wharf several yrs back. Welcome home, ramblin' man.
You missed out on so many things close by in Canada . Niagra on the lake, Canadas Wonderland, Casleloma all near Niagra. Glad you enjoyed the falls. Those wings look good. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
You should do “Journey Behind the Falls” to experience fully the power and majesty of the Horseshoe Falls. You get so close to the falling water ithan you do on the boat!
Another great video. Next trip you should ride the Jet Boat on the Niagra River. It's amazing. Takes you through really big rapids and whirlpools, I prefer the NY side. Less tourist traps and you can visit the amazing Cave of the Winds and stand just feet from the American Falls..
Loved the video. As a native of the Buffalo area, Clifton Hill, CA was a hangout. if still in Buffalo you need to go to Duffs for wings. In fact, You need to just do a whole segment on Buffalo area food. I am hungry and missing it! You can hit all 3 original locations on the same road all within 3 miles. Sheridan Drive. Ted's hot dogs, Anderson's beef on weck and custard, and Duff's. Also Mighty Taco. @thecarpetbagger
By the sounds of it, he hates Canada and couldn't wait to get back to the States. Sad really. He only went to Toronto very briefly, then to Niagara Falls. Didn't spend too much time in Canada.
Michael Garant Media He can’t blame us for his stupidity, it’s only common sense to know something that can easily kill someone cannot be used in a different country. He should first study a countries laws first before entering. I sort of lost respect for him when he went back to the U.S and was live streaming saying he did not like Canadians while saying other ignorant things.
Tasers are illegal for private citizens to carry in seven states: Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Wisconsin. They are also illegal in the District of Columbia. So be carefull even back in the USA, the fine is big !
The next time you are in Madison, Indiana, you should visit Clifty Fall park. Check out the construction remnants of a failed attempt to put a rail road pass through the steep valley.
@Ravenclaw. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm a born/raised Canadian. Fiercely proud of my low crime & friendly country. Had thought he was going to head all across Canada. To the West coast & Vancouver. Through our stunning Rocky Mountains. But, nope, how quick was that trip?!
I don't think he'll be heading back to Canada any time soon. He already mentioned in a live stream that he dislikes Canadians, after he went back to the US. His border experience left a bitter taste in his mouth and now hates Canada. I lost respect for the Carpetmuncher after his opinions on Canadians.
Sometime in your travels you should check out The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, in Dearborn , MI. Also Crossroads Villge and Huckleberry railroad in Flint. Another super cool place in Michigan is Mackinac Island. I remember it used to be foot, bicycle and buggy traffic only, no cars allowed. Not sure if it is still that way, as that was decades ago. There is also a really cool museum about the construction of the "Mighty Mac" a.k.a. Mackinac Bridge, but I don't remember what it is called.
Maybe the reason so many people try to go over the falls is that they are trying to dive down to the end of the rainbow to find a pot of gold.😁 I don't know about Buffalo Wings, but City Chicken was invented in Detroit during the depression as a way of using up scrap meat cuttings, usually pork and beef, it became popular because it was cheap to purchase, yet delicious and satisfying to the consumer. It's still a popular dish in Polish Restaurants and as a holiday meal for some families, but it's not so cheap anymore.
Buffalo Wings did not come about the way he said. The Real Story is...... On March 4th, 1964, Dominic Bellissimo was tending bar at the now-famous Anchor Bar Restaurant in Buffalo, NY. Late that evening, a group of Dominic’s friends arrived at the bar with ravenous appetites. Dominic asked his mother, Teressa, to prepare something for his friends to eat. They looked like chicken wings, a part of the chicken that usually went into the stock pot for soup. Teressa had deep fried the wings and flavored them with a secret sauce. The wings were an instant hit and it didn’t take long for people to flock to the bar to experience their new taste sensation. From that evening on, Buffalo Wings became a regular part of the menu at the Anchor Bar. The phenomenon created in 1964 by Teressa Bellissimo has spread across the globe. Although many have tried to duplicate the Buffalo wing, the closely guarded secret recipe is what makes Frank & Teressa’s the proclaimed “Best Wings in the World”. www.anchorbar.com/history
In BUFFALO GO TO LANOVA PIZZERIA: 371 w ferry st. get the traditional buffalo pepperoni pizza, also their wings rock. Worth driving down from canada for.
Hornblower took it over on the Canadian side, their boats have two parallel hulls , Catamarans, and the Maid of the Mist on the American side only has a single hull.
This is the first year in a really long time that they used the incline to get people to the docks. In fact, you had to go through a building and cram onto elevators that went several levels down to the boats. Interesting thing is that the Maid of The Mist operators lost the right to operate in Canada for enviornmental and other violations. The contract was awarded to Hornblower a few years ago to run the boats from hereon out. It's pretty much the same experience I'm told.
"In case of an emergency remain calm. An alarm will sound"...causing you to become hysterical.
Awesome boat tour of the falls! But good to be back in America!
Amazing, beautiful waterfalls, could feel the rumble come through the video! The rainbows were so vivid! 🌈
Gorgeous place!

Tasers have been legalized in Massachusetts. They sell them at Dicks sporting goods.
Darn internet for not having the current information ! LOL
Stun gun. Stun guns and Tasers are different.
@@jraoul711 You probably mean stun gun, not taser.
@@englishatheart they are considered the same. They are legal, but like a gun, you need a permit to have it.
