- Welcome to episode 4 of the Cabin Build Series, in this video we show you how we built the walls of our house in just 48 hours while living in our self converted campervan here in the Mountain. We continued the build by assembling the wall's metal framing on the floor, setting up all the props, standing them up and finalized by bracing them together.

I would like to find out more about the steal frames you guys used, what are they called , what are the dimensions and where would one buy them.
I only found your channels a few weeks ago and watched the up to date episodes to start with. I am now going back to the beginning of the build starting with the creation of the raised beds and start of the build of the tiny house. I am fascinated by all this and all you have done. and I love the precision and care you give to everything.

I love how you guys planned all the details including how yours watch the sunset🥺 how you celebrate your hard work by going to the beach and all that, I can imagine the feeling of purpose and fulfilment ❤️ also growing food from seeds, the joy that comes with growing something and eating what you natured 🥺🥺 wow also living in your van having limited access to water and electricity for 2 years🙆 I can see how it can make one feel grateful for things we overlook daily😊 watching you makes me feel close to how I wanna live my life🥰

hahaha yes Richard! he was very proud of the work he put into the build helping us all day! I think he stayed on top of the platform for the next 3 days, it is funny seeing how the pets interact with what we are building!

The fourth wall will be two full height doors that open the space completely to the garden! that is why we did not frame it yet, there will be a future episode making them! we are eating from the garden on a daily basis now! P.S. yes for a moment we have a bit of doubts if we were going to be able to pull this through being only two... but we did! Very happy you liked the video! Looking forward sharing more progress.

Why not doing wood frame or using containers for the structure? I’m curious about the financial part of this amazing project.
Are you planning to insulate the floor or the exterior skirting around the perimeter?
Hi Jason, the floor won't be insulated, just the 18mm thick OSB raised 20/30cm from the floor. From the floor up everything will be insulated! we will show the whole process it in a future video! cheers!

The first video I saw of yours was the complete build. Now I'm starting at #1 while looking over your website. You asked if we see anything to please let you know-
1) the US Miter saw link is the jig
2) Brad nailer, accidently used word "brand". Doesn't bother me, I knew what u meant. Perhaps someone might not. (Between my dyslexia & auto spell u never know what word I'll insert then my when I read b4 sending my mind sees what I wanted to write)

Hi, the plant drawing include all the instructions and method statements? Is there a full pack for the 2 designs or or it's only sold separately one by one? Is the drawing all a finish product including toylet and that and how difficult it is to change the design like layout and that? Thanks
Hi Ricardo, the kits include all the dimensions, plans and specs of the finished Cabin. Including toilet. And the option to have shower inside instead of an outdoor one. Layout and structural kits are sold separately you can add both to the cart at the same time :) Thank you! 🔥

Hola Antonio, no tenemos ninguno :( es muy distinto y cambiante dependiendo de cada zona y PDM local por lo que no le vemos mucho sentido. Lo mejor es estudiarse el PDM de su zona en particular y si fuese necesario buscar asesoramiento profesional

Where do you get the water for your garden from?
Hi Penny, sorry we just saw your comments! during those days we had to connect to a water faucet from our neighbor every 3-4 days if it would not rain. Luckily this winter it has rained a lot so we didn't need to water the garden much!

Frame is like use on drywall ?
Similar concept, but way more structural! Drywall profiles are normally 0.5mm thick and LSF are around 1.5-3mm
