Not trying to be too critical here but you’re using a tool meant for LAWNS, not snow removal. The bristle brush would be more suitable for snow removal but only light snow, no more than 1”. The equipment I use to clear airport runways has bristles and not rubber paddles and still only designed to remove up to 3” of snow. This is a poor review.
lol my thoughts exactly...did well enough you could easily just salt it...if you really wanted to i spose grab a leaf blower but just throw the damn salt down
Hey it’s better than shoveling but it was never designed with snow removal as one of its tasks. It’s almost like being disappointed that your shovel does a poor job raking leaves
You’re using the rubber paddle brush which is meant for grass and smooth concrete floors, NOT for snow removal. Even the bristle brush would have issues with wet snow like what you are dealing with. Milwaukee is releasing a snow blower Fall/Winter 2023.
I knew it wasn’t ideal but I’ve used a gas brush for sidewalks before and it worked great. Anyway, went with Greenworks 60v for the snowblower so I’ll have that to review next year
Thanks for watching! I’ve used the broom for landscaping projects and it does pretty well, but definitely can’t hang with the Stihl gas for snow. M18 snow blower will be cool to see!
Um, why are you using that for 8” of snow? It’s only useful for small amounts and a quick clean. I’m just looking at getting one and of course it’s not going to clear ask that heavy snow!
Lol..I would had flagged that plow truck down and had him run thru there..lol.. inhate to hear it didn't make the cut for ya..in the beginning it looked like it was a winner.... they use something like that to drag a truff baseball field, well at least the batter boxes and around bases.. it evens out all the chip tire pieces they use in the truff...anyways, great review!!!
Yeah, if you use it throughout a snowfall it would work great but it just can’t move a lot of weight. I’m sure I’ll use it this Spring for leaves and spreading mulch. Thanks BV!
I knew I was pushing it, just wanted to see if it could match the gas Stihl. It’s still good for light clearing but yeah definitely better for landscaping application
@@jackof1 I got Milwaukee outdoor tools because I have plenty of Milwaukee 5.0 batteries. I started using them on the outdoor tools (blower & string trimmer) started to wear them down, eventually killed one of them. So I invested in a 12.0 and now i have batteries for power tools and batteries for outdoor tools…so Why did I bother going with Milwaukee? 😂

Looks like it worked pretty well to me.
Ok let me go get my yard rake so i can rake the snow.
Honestly looks like its doing pretty good from that icy snow.

Thanks for posting!
That looked like more work than shovelling. I'm in Toronto, I could maybe use that to clean the windshield off. Do they make a 48in one?
There’s a rubber bristle one that looks even more light duty. That might work!

This IS meant for snow
Good for light clearing? That works for me. Heavy clearing, I will use my snow blower. 2 thumbs up for me.
That's pretty interesting, I like snow but no way I'd like it if I had to do that...I'll just stay down here🤠👍 good stuff Mr. Patrick
Thanks for the review. I was about to go buy one for the same purpose. I think I'll wait for the snow blower to come out 😅

Have to agree you live in an area a proper snow blower a must. Looked like a good option for areas where it only lightly dusts with snow.

You're hired to do my driveway any time sir!! Lol I'm sold want one!!
Will work for Snap-On🙋🏼♂️
@@jackof1 lol
Landscaping season is about to kick off so when I start moving mulch and stuff I’ll do an update!
$24.99 for the light from TSC. Realized it’s too small to see
Looks like it works
Not as good as the gas Stihl, it’s decent for light clearing

Pretty sure a shovel would work better.
You should never use that tool with anything lower than a 8ah High Output and the attachment was never meant for snow really

dud? typo?
So don't use a lawn tool to remove snow?! Lol! 😂😂 OK!😅
That’s true, but for my purposes I was comparing it to the gas Stihl broom, which is able to move snow
