Finally found someone making videos without 15+ minutes of blabber about nothing!! Good shit man keep it up!
For the now 6 people who gave this guy the thumbs down what are they idiot's ? I was watching only 2:00 minutes this guy's talented as Hell !
Could anyone here use a torch and
Cut metal that ? We need people who can work with their hands.
Awesome build series.. you saved me a lot of misery. I picked the perfect time to build mine with material 2x as much as this time last year... oh well, thanks for the videos man.
Watching this bed build makes me wanna build one.
Nice build! 🙋
Love it ! Keep it simple 👌
I'm wanting to know what kind of locks you used on it. My boxes had some bs lock, if u wanna call it that. Mine are similar in height to yours. Looking for ideas. Thanks.
can’t wait to see you work on the dump truck
Trailers are fun to build keep up the good work
Hey man I saw all your videos on building the video. Very talented work about how much does it cost to build a bed?
The bad turned out sweet. Another great video 👍👍
Awesome 👏
What would you say the weight is on a build like this in comparison to a stock bed? Reason I ask is id like to build a bed for my truck eventually but it’s a 1/2 ton. I know it’s not very ideal for a rig but it’s all I’ve got to work with right now for starting out.
A lot more than a factory bed but if all you have is a half ton, you don’t have to build it like this, just build a simple/light flatbed and just be mindful of weight because your machine and tools will also add a lot of weight
very -nice Stay creative Buddy !
OnceandDonemobilewelding👊😎
I like what you've done. I really want to make some modifications with my everlast welder.
Hey do you have info how to make locks on these boxes? My releases are in the wheel well but can’t seem to see a way to lock them. Any help?
Give away here’s an idea 💡
Your welder or a Truck or the KIA I mean Freightliner 😂.
Can’t wait for the giveaway keep those videos coming friend 👍
All the way from Fontana California
What gauge sheetmetal do you use for the main deck, the lids, sides, etc.
Get some some arc shots and vid of him learning to downhill. Does he have any pipe welding experience?
Do you guys disconnect the batteries to weld on the truck? And does the bed need to be grounded to weld off of it?
I don’t disconnect the batteries, and I’ve never done anything special for grounding, just be sure that you have a good ground on whatever you’re welding so that the welding machine doesn’t use the trucks electrical system as one
Whats the number off your edge o2 and acet regulators? Did you half to modify the valve / lock protection cap to work with the edge or if you didn't will you shoot me the part number of them. Thanks for your vids
They are just victor medium duty regs
What’s the price range to build something like this
In today’s market, a lot more than it should. When I built this bed I want to say I had roughly 2k-2500 in it.
Very nice, stupid question but what thickness is the metal?
1/8”
Exactly how many parts are there to building a “rig bed” Sir
I guess 7 haha
Where did you get the 4 link setup and what are those bags rated for
4link is from nfamus fab but can be purchased thru my website (panicfabrications.com) same price, just helps channel out a little and bags are semi truck size so like 10k each ish
looking sweet but missing light. need middle lights and side lights due to width.
Would like to see how you built your roll out wheel
I have a video on the channel, may have to scroll back a bit
I need build a flat.bed for my ram 3500 2ng.gen where are you located??
Florida
Hi, Ik it’s like 11months too late but how’s the lids hold up not being x-bent
Just fine, they are braced on the inside with angle tho
@@j_moffitt thanks , I’m in the process of building mine , have taken a lot of ideas from yr videos , great content my dude.
what gauge for the metal sides and fenders
All 1/8”
When is part 8 coming to the finish project?
I sold that truck to my buddy so it may be a while before you see an update
Hey bud. Got pictures or videos building a bed for the 2nd gen
I have some older vids of building a flatbed for one...
J_Moffitt not a welding bed
No, not yet at least
I’m trying to get some ideas of one.
J_Moffitt I seen that red 2nd gen wit a bed thought yu made that
Long process in between other stuff to do. It will be nice when finished 👍.
If you need help with that trailer let me know I work with hydraulics and have built a few
Where’s part 8?
i have actual engineered drawings for a pull behind dump trailer if you would like to see them.
Sure thing, this is kinda gonna be a one off sort of build but still would like to see them
