I was starting down this path then gave up. It looks like I should have kept going. The thing I got out of trying this before was finding the grouping of B-C-E-F in relation to two adjacent strings (on a seven-string this makes even more sense). Now I understand the groups of 3 and 4 which I knew but never applied before. Now finding notes surrounding B-C-E-F groups will be easier. Also, this makes moving between strings easier for me. It could have been years before I revisited this. Thank you for getting me on track. I might even attack CAGED in the near future for the umteenth time. 😆
