A wonderful exercise to find articulation in the upper part of the spine and a sense of opening of the chest. Imagine you have a long tail (like a lion…) that lies heavily between your legs. As you move your head and the top of the spine, your long tail should counterbalance the weight of the upper body and get you to engage your power house for strength and support of the lumbar spine.
