Funny you should mention the black clothes. The band has a kind of uniform with the long black coats but Arjen told the vocalists to wear something flashy for the concert. Everyone came dressed in all black. Hey, it's metal - what did he expect? xD
This song is how I came to know Ayreon. So I’m happy to see it,
There's another version of this song from live performance called the Theater Equation. It was an unofficial show with Arjen's blessing. Videography isn't up to official Ayreon standards but still entertaining. Anneke van Giersbergen gets a special mention for singing while climbing off a wrecked car in Day Two: Isolation.
We should call him "Sir Joost" - since he was knighted by the Dutch king.
I always wished Arjen would get Devin Townsend back for a bigger part than the studio screams on then end of this track.

It's a portuguese band.. I can't say what's their genre, though.. Each "mutation" (album) of the band feels, sounds and looks different.

I'm not sure that one's still available on RUclips unfortunately. I know I tried to find it somewhat recently and had no luck.
He recently sang it on his live stream playthrough of his latest album as an encore. Keep in mind this was at 6am after 3 complete sets of the album starting at 10pm. The first two on were on twitch. Also watch the entire video!

Is LUL mean dick?Arjen claims that Joost van den Broek is LUL.
As a slur it means "Dick" or "Dickhead" although the first is more accurate. In this case it's some good-natured ribbing between Arjen and Joost who are the best of friends. I gather Arjen is the more free-spirited one and Joost is more level-headed and takes on many of the organisational aspects of these projects Arjen can't be bothered with. I sure can see Joost insisting Arjen doing some task Arjen doesn't feel like doing which can lead to some annoyance - especially when Arjen realizes Joost is right - making Arjen calling Joost a "lul". Both probably understand it's a way for Arjen to blow of steam while accepting what needs to be done ...... It probably happens so much it has become an inside joke - a meme - between the two.
