I fell in love with her at 16 and went to all her concerts. Touched, she let me come free, and spend time with her before she went on stage in Quebec City. We came back together on her tour bus from a small city north of there, and I sat with her. I was in heaven. Such a generous, kind soul, as beautiful in her soul and face as in her singing. It was one of the highlights of my very eventful life, pure joy. Thank you, Nana, I will always love you. You deserve the love the world has given you. 💚💙💛💚
Nana Mouskuri. When you listen to her voice and close your eyes, it's like listening to an angels voice. Such a beautiful lady with such an amazing voice.
Her voice and her way of singing, have a “ladylike” quality, an elegance, a frankness and purity which sets her apart from the raunchy, brazen quality of more showbiz personalities.

Nana's album Que Je Sois un Ange was the first French-language album I bought and I have loved her ever since. I am happy to have seen her live in Dallas. I now love her Greek songs most. God bless you, Nana!
Growing up in France in the mid 60s and 70s, I was always aware of Nana Mouskouri’s songs but was not really interested in her as she was more my parents age and her voice was maybe too operatic for the YeYe era . This double documentary is a double slap in the face/wake up call. What an amazing career! Of course having lived in most European countries, I was aware that she was well known but not to this extent!! Thanks so much for putting her where she belongs and shame on France for not being able to make such tribute to this legendary artist.❤
France had always celebrated Nana! Where were you not to know she was famous to THAT extent ? I'm french , born in 1972 and with parents yours and Nana's generation and I always knew she was worldwide known , including being as big a name in france as any, a real fixture of our tv shows. That's what I 've always hated in my generation ( and the previous one), that way of being totally closed to anything musically that wasn't aimed at teenagers, as if being an 80's teenager of the MTV generation, buying Michael Jackson's records or the cure's or Madonna's ( or Vanessa Paradis!) prevented one to appreciate a Nana Mouskouri or a Barbra Streisand. I've never bowed to any teenager my generation talking me down at school because I also loved those artists...I 've always hated that sort of musical racism in a generation that pretended to be "open". But having known the ye ye years in france and ignoring Nana was wildly famous later on?
