D3 has been a massive part of my gaming world. It's always been this title that I come back to every season while getting me from game release to game release.
tbh to me the game in its final form is still a bit more fun than d4 currently is. i just wish they would have started with the season themes earlier during its life cycle and i guess i will come back each season for the first couple days atleast
Makes me really sad that this is the end of D3 patches. I'm so thankful for all the D3 content you've made over the years, Raxx - my partner and I followed your leveling guides for years, as well as challenge rifts, builds... The end of an era, truly. Thank you
You should make 2 more D3 videos...the leveling guide for this season, and a farewell video. Cut together all of the best moments of your time with D3 from when you first started streaming it, all the way through the early seasons, patch reactions, best rips, best 150 clears, etc etc, set it to some sappy music...give it a good Raxx send off.
The first few days of a new Diablo 3 season are still some of my favorite in gaming. The leveling, the gearing, the shutting off of my brain and just playing. It might be one of the last times through but I'll always look back fondly. Thank you for all of the videos and guides along the way
I think I will still come back for that from time to time. Season rotations will keep them fresh enough for a couple of times they are repeated. Of course a much smaller mainstream hype will lessen the general hype I will have as well, but there is still going to be 2-3 days of that fun for me.
Thanks for every Diablo 3 guide that you gave us! i have been here for the Diablo 3 Content but your PoE content is also really great its helping me progress a lot in PoE!
You didn't 'just' make D3 videos, you gave us the best information out there. The level at which you analysed made such a huge impact on my, and surely many others game experience. Thank you for all the hard work you put in!! Looking forward to the stream :)
Thanks for all of the D3 content Rax! It's been a heck of a ride and yes D3 had a rough start but in the end it's a game I've got a lot of enjoyment out of. And I appreciate all the time and content you're provided.
Never have been more hyped than when D3 got announced. Immediately preordered the Collectors edition. We went through a lot of emotions with D3, both positive and negative, but it has been great game and your guides have been priceless. We can only hope D4 will become this good of a game someday, meanwhile will re-play the D3 seasons.
Rax - As a long time fan I have loved watching you get into POE, D4 and Last Epoch, it has been fun to try new ARPGs myself as well, and I think it's the right direction for your channel in general. But I want to speak for a second for both myself and all your fans... If you ever feel the urge to make more D3 content in any form or return to a season just for nostalgia nobody would point to this video and call you a hypocrite haha. I know it will never be a regular thing again, but for us devout D3 pumpers there is nothing quite like a new Rax video to hype up a season. Thanks for all the amazing and informative content over the years! I look forward to your final D3 video and to watching your content on whatever game you play for many more years to come!
I remember repeatedly playing through Act 1 back in the D3 beta. It was such an exciting time when it was finally coming out because I knew I'd love it. It's been a great run and is certainly one of my favorite games of all time.
I remember doing Act I to 3 in a loop to progress... It was laborious with often problematic developments, but in the end the game became my favorite forever! And you, Raxx has been my main source of information on Ytb. Google translate has helped me a lot to understand your barbarian language xD. I'm 56 years old and I don't remember when I started it. But I know that my enthusiasm for this game wouldn't have been the same without you and so a big thank you!
Salute to everyone in the community that has been in D3 for the past several years which were quite good for the game! I am not one of those who think D3 was a failure. D3 for me was and still is a fun game.
I remember seeing Diablo 3 on the shelf when I bought it almost 12 years ago. I still have the case till this day. It’s the only game that can actually bring me back to play
It certainly feels like an end of an era. I stopped playing when d4 came out so 2012-2023. A big chunk of that in the company of your good self. Thank you for the fun, the guides, the help (and scribbly)! You made me a better player, generally.
Dunno why but the last minute of the video really gave me the feels man. Its been a ride these past few years, I've enjoyed every d3 video and stream of yours that I have watched. Thanks for doin what you do for the community Raxx, not sure if you realize how much your content means to all of us on the other end of your monitor. All I can hope for now is that the Last Epoch content out weighs PoE cause thats just not my jam. Cheers Bro, Happy New Year and all the best!
Love d3 and found you what nearly 5 years ago because of your d3 content. Good luck to the d3 devs and content creators where ever their futures take them! I actually have a distinct memory of giving my new born a bath back in 2014 (he was a couple months old) and thinking, "season 1... this will be so exciting tonight when my wife and I get to start our journeys" lol dumb I know but something that stuck out in my mind all these years. Thanks for the memories.
Thank you Raxx for all your content over many years. As an OAP player, I would never have persevered and reached the top twenty in Europe without your invaluable help, especially with your rift guides.
Hey Raxx, could you break down the leveling guide in 3 ways? 1- Leveling while using the CR cache 2- Leveling while saving the CR cache 3- Leveling while sharing the CR cache (region switchers/second account) Im very interested in the optimized leveling way using the 3rd method. Also saw the neat 'Necro to lvl 18 trick' and using that character to unlock the 'lvl 1 gear' node on the Altar. Thx a lot!!
30 Seasons, I do not call that a failure. I was stoked when I purchased D3 back in season 2 and have played every season and will continue to do so. My only disappointment, is they did not continue the Diablo gameplay across to D4, which is kind of boring now, considering they have just simply made D4 very hard to achieve any sort of enjoyment, I have gotten out of D1,D2 and D3.
The amount of seasons is probably the absolute worst metric you can use to argue whether or not the game "failed". It's Blizzard, they have billions of dollars, D3 would have had the same amount of seasons literally no matter what. Very poor logic.
Can't wait until Friday, I'll be watching you stream while I grind away myself. Raxx, thank you for all the in-depth guides, breakdown videos, and all the other knowledge you've shared and imparted to the community for Diablo 3. There was a time when I was intimidated by the idea of doing Greater Rifts... But thanks to you, Wudijo and Rhykker, that time is in the distant past now. See you Friday Raxx.
Diablo has also been a huge part of my life as well. I, too, was that kids grinding D2 when I probably should've been doing more productive things. I got back into Diablo 3 a little late and I've been a huge fan of your vids and guides every season. I look forward to this last hurrah and whatever content you make going forward! Thank you, Raxx!
Thanks for all your D3 videos over the years. I'm looking forward to these retread seasons, especially this one and the ethereals. So much has been added to the game since they first appeared so, for me at least, I don't think it will feel stale. Also, if the Maxroll tier list is right, the class balance is going to be the best it's ever been. Have to say that the D3 development team did a great job from about season 16 onwards.
I (+ co-player) was waiting on your tier list. Other people have posted theirs but it doesnt compare to yours. I understand though. THanks for all the D3 and D4 content!
Bitter sweet for sure my friend... Raxx thank you so much for the unrelenting support you give to us around every corner in Diablo you helped the community the entire life of this game and I for one thank you for allowing me to really grasp how to massacre the diablo series. "I AM THE CONDUIT"
Season 30 looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, hopefully we still get at least 2 seasons a year and they keep rotating the theme for a while. (Edit) the class changes seem really good but I hope we can get a few changes to witch doctor eventually, especially toughness increases.
been following since season 17 or 18. the end of an era. i hope to see your in-depth, beginner friendly, high quality guide videos continue through PoE2 and beyond.
Thank you, Obi-Raxx-Kenobi! As I've not gone over to D4, I've missed your videos! (Oh, if possible, make a CR Guide for this week. It's a bastard of a run!) My very best to you!!!
Rax, I hope the Altar and Vision Portals will become available for off season toons. I enjoy playing my off ladder toons with all the bis gear I collected all this time and was really looking forward to playing those new features off season as well. Is it a bug that didn't go live with the patch yesterday? Will the season go live this Friday enable this, too?
one thing i was supremely hoping for was the option for single player play, to be able to play offline and chill eventually when the servers go down would have been so nice. but i suppose all good things must come to an end
Sad to see D3 finally going into maintenance mode. Played a lot at the start, finally came back a few years ago in between other games and the Switch release. When I did, I found your channel and would watch your guides each new season, and the ever green content for season challenages. End of an era to be sure.
I can remember my brother and I playing the Trial version of this game , I became hooked then bought it and followed the franchise ever since. Thanks Diablo 3 and Blizzard for all the memories.
love logging into d3 even now to break up the monotony of some other games for a week or so, and love watching you now blast poe and other arpgs. keep blasting!
Diablo III was my first Diablo. I got into it in early 2019 and have been playing every season since 17. One of my favorite games to play and it introduced me to your channel and the wider Diablo/ARPG community. Forever grateful for the game and your content. Keep blasting.
Diablo 3 is an amzing story of a game that really ended up being an AWESOME game ❤ to all the d3 team a game that start out so exciting but was a mess to the last 6 years of it becoming amazing
For some reason the thumbnail for this video reminds me of one the last few scenes in the Lord of the Rings: Return of the King when the Elves took Frodo and Bilbo Baggins on a boat to travel to a place where Elves would live on for eternity. Where Bilbo and Frodo would eventually leave Middle Earth and go to a mystical world forever inhabited by Elves.
the real question is when they eventually shutdown the servers are they going to an enable offline/LAN only mode so they can shut the servers off, while still leaving the game playable
I know I’m in the minority but I play both D4 and D3 and D3 is massively a more enjoyable experience season wise, as a gamer dad I can get everything I want to get done and push leaderboards and GRs if I want to, I look forward to D3 seasons way more then D4, I am not a fan of d4s itemization and find I spend more time looking at gear for affixes or legendary power roles, I feel like they can easily fix this just haven’t or are saving them as a selling point to get players to return or buy a new expansion, one thing I know for sure is that Friday I am taking off work and going to enjoy D3 once again
ONE. LAST. TIME. Diablo 3 started on what I'd call was a rocky road, but without any road, rocks, or anything else around. It grew up to be one of my favorite videogames of all time. It never quite got to Diablo 2 levels of nostalgia, but it sure got close there in the last few seasons (like 21-30). I remember all kinds of fun things from D3 like spending 2 Beez at a time, to $250 RMAH sales/purchases,to hitting Paragon 50 back when the cap was 100 and thinking i was halfway there, to doing my first Grift 45 back in the earliest seasons, to doing 100s back in the mid-seasons to finally doing 150 and essentially making it to the end of the endgame in the latest few seasons. So many demons dispatched, friends made, and rifts demolished. 30 seasons of destruction, 12 years of fun, and countless friends along the way. Diablo 3 ends as a legendary successor to all that came before, and a great blueprint for what is to come.
Thanks for all the great D3 videos you've made! I have enjoyed your videos for a long time and it's really sad to know that this is your 2nd to last video on D3, I wish it could go on forever... be safe friend
Have seen nearly every D3 video you've made. Appreciate everything you've brought to the table for us. If D3 is going into maintenance-only, I would love to have all of the cosmetics that have ever been made be made available to players now. Sure, we can go hunting for cosmic wings still, but all the special wings/pets/etc that were part of different promos or events - open it all up.
Awesome man just awesome. I remember i picked up D3 when it first came out. Got it to level 60 and crushed the story over n over. Came back years later around like season 20 something...i didnt even know what a season was lol. Im glad i found your channel sir. I basically only watch you and rhykker and DM. Ill still play D3 for a while. Thanks for all your insight
Thaz's Bro for your work in giving us all joy in watching U in D3 ..& thanks to the team all so ,i bow to U my friend thank U from the bottom of my heart ...
Thank you Raxx for all the guides you made for D3. In this last leveling guide, don't forget about the trick using The Darkening of Tristram to get the flawless diamond in less than 5 min, without the need to play Necro nor wait until level 18.
I am a bit sad too as I have been playing D3 since its release for more than 6,000 hours... but I will continue to come back and blast with my friends at the beginning of each recycled season 🙂
You are part of the reason why D3 actually continues on and improves till 30 seasons of it. The community is nothing without your contents. Thank you for all these years 😢
Gosh, thats quite the announcement. Every season I would checkout the new leveling guide as well as the Rift Challenge video, just to start off as well as I possibly could. I hardly ever played an entire season from start until the end though, but for me as a casual that was fine. With D3 stopping development this truly is the end of an era. Sayonara D3!
Although I didn’t quite enjoy d3 as much as d2 and many haters still hate on it, it was still really fun to hop on a random season and blast. For those of us that grew up with blizzard games, we now only have so much time in adult lives to play. D3 kind of hit that sweet spot (after years of development) to just get the dopamine flowing for those of us that couldn’t commit as much time as we used to grinding to buy an enigma like Raxx mentioned. Also cheers Raxx, I found you through d3 and will be watching your streams for a long time. I barely played POE, couldn’t get into it at the time but still watch your POE streams and will probably try POE 2 just because of you. Maxroll is a great resource I still use it to this day for d4 or future play throughs of d3. Hopefully d4 develops into something much better soon, I can’t wait 10 years lol…
For some of us, D3 = Raxx and vise versa I couldn't thank you enough for spending all this time here for us Let's hope to more and better things with D4 and PoE, to a new era!
I feel like Diablo 3 has had a strange journey as a game. I started out pretty close to day 1, but the real-money AH really rubbed me the wrong way, never got too deep into the game. Ignored it until the expansion. Gave that a go, it was fine, nothing too exciting. But then there were greater rifts and seasons, new sets and reworks, and it kept getting better. I probably played more D3 in the last 3 years of its life than the first 3. There were a lot of flaws and rough patches for the game, but the way the small remaining group of Devs continually improved D3 was kind of special. Hard to imagine something like that happening again from a major game company in today’s landscape. I can’t respect Bliz upper management at all, but Kudos to the low-tier workers behind the scenes who put in a lot of effort for a “dead game.”
Totally agree. The D3 team, over the last few years, seem to have been motivated by the idea of taking the game towards the players and making it into the kind of game they wanted to play. It often seems that game studios try to do that in reverse: persuade players to play the game they want to make (for whatever commercial reason). D3 started out that way and it seemed the only question Blizzard was asking then was "how can we extract value from our players". But over the years everything changed, very much for the good, and, as you say, it has been kind of special.
Spending more than 10k (6k on the barb alone) hours in this game and never missed a seasonstart i will miss it dearly. (the seasons forward is just not the same) Thank you for all the content over the years Mr.Raxx

Yeah, nice idea! You will have to do that by yourself. Raxx is not the kind of guy that really loves to edit videos and stuff.

It got pretty quiet during Season 29, but there are at least two of us (my wife and I) who still play and will keep going until we get bored!

I missed your guides and it escaped my attention 😢
I started Diablo 3 with your guides. Thank you!
the real question is when they eventually shutdown the servers are they going to an enable offline/LAN only mode so they can shut the servers off, while still leaving the game playable
Was a great journey. You and Maxroll were the only reason I ever got above Greater Rift 100. Thank you for everything.
ONE. LAST.
Pretty bittersweet, ide say right now diablo 3 is better game than d4 still =/
Always will be.
Yep this matches my thoughts as well and I even hate the look of D3 but it's objectively a better game right now.
Sad that this is the end of D3 content from you Raxx, but it makes me happy to see you finding a new home in PoE ❤
This is the game that introduced me to Raxx his thorough and detailed videos were next level and now d3 is over😢
Thanks for all the great D3 videos you've made! I have enjoyed your videos for a long time and it's really sad to know that this is your 2nd to last video on D3, I wish it could go on forever... be safe friend
When you think of D3 the "Blue Hoodie Guy" is one of the first things that comes to mind :)
Ty Rax for the amazing content all these years for D3. o7
i started watching you with diablo 3 guides , always knew youd blow up! bitter sweet but cheers to new beginnings!
D3 : you were a beautiful experience
Me: You were everything
thnx dude! have helped me alot with the guides :)
"Town is lava." A million dollar phrase. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work and dedication to this game mate. 🙏
Thanks for all you have done for the community and for teaching me so much about the game. Cheers!
You are part of the reason why D3 actually continues on and improves till 30 seasons of it. The community is nothing without your contents. Thank you for all these years 😢
Rax you were the top tier diablo 3 streamer for me! Thanks for the guidance man!
Hopefully d4 develops into something much better soon, I can’t wait 10 years lol…
one final push to victory!💪
One more challenge rift guide!
For some of us, D3 = Raxx and vise versa
I couldn't thank you enough for spending all this time here for us
Let's hope to more and better things with D4 and PoE, to a new era!
Farewell Raxx, maybe I'll come back to stream/youtube for Riot MMORPG or PoE 2.
I did not expect raxx to do one more go at D3, I thought he hung up the coat already. this is really cool!
Thank you Raxx for all the videos you made about D3. I had a great time with DE and your advices
Thanks for all your D3 videos Raxx 🥺 You've been a guiding light through Sanctuary
Thank you for not forget D3 ~
