It’s become popular due to its diverse selection of birds and mammals along with a lot of endangered species.We had to make sure we visited to see what all the hype was about.

WOW…Peaceful, Free, Happy and Healthy Animals! I’m like you guys, I don’t like Zoo’s because animals should not be caged. I’m from the Big Island of Hawaii and we have a Zoo like this one. The animals are not caged and their free to roam.

You have to visit Africam Safari in Puebla. It has 2500 animals of 350 different species, and you can go around it in your own car or take a bus. A great experience.

Hands down the best zoo I've been to. I got to feed a Giraffe and actually see all the beautiful animals featured on the map. I def. Recommend.

I’ve been in Guadalajara for around 11 days now and I have to see that zoo! Way better than the Bronx Zoo from all the videos I see.
It was a sleeper for me (Rondel) I don't enjoy zoos but I enjoyed our tiring little day there!

My favorite part of my visit there was being inside of the enclosure with the Lemurs, they were climbing all over us! I can’t imagine that happening in the States…too many lawyers there.
Great zoo and a great workout. Pretty big and hilly. My baby loves it. Then again, she’s on a stroller the whole time.

Really great zoo! The safari and the penguins were my faves! Rondel, Apryl, you rent some kids for the day? (Yes, I saw the dad, lol.) Isn't it cool seeing things thru the eyes of a child?

That was fun and different .I haven't been to a Zoo in so long, many years ,maybe since I lived in San Diego .Then it was affordable now it's $60 or more to get in .That Zoo you went to was affordable! I do feel it isn't good to keep animals locked up up even fishes. Yet ,the acquariam part looked fun.

Your footage of the ostrich showed how big they actually are, well done. I'm not normally a fan of zoos but that one looked pretty good. I'm assuming you didn't go to the two zoos in Merida while you were living there? I wouldn't recommend either of them - Anne

On another note, have you guys ever had to renew your passport while in Mexico?
My passport is nearing its expiration and I wanted to know if I could re-new it while in Mexico?
The gorillas were lethargic so they didn't make the finL cut. Yes, I just renewed my passport video coming soon. Contact the US Consulate closest to you and start jumping through hoops 😆.
Looking forward to hear and watch your passport renewal video as I want to do so while in Guadalajara... "hoops"...sigh. Wow never saw a lethargic gorilla-must have been the heat-will check it out!

I think it almost as nice as the San Diego Zoo...probably not quite as big, but then the ticket cost is literally about 10% of San Diego's. The views of the canyon are also spectacular.
Yes, that Sand Diego Zoo is too rich for my blood but its rated as #1 in the world. I bet it is a memorable experience.
