Hi thank you for the video, Can you comment on whether or not help with scale build up like those white water stains
I just installed it. I will let you know in a few weeks.
@@handymanschool It would be great if you also posted a review of the unit now that you've had it for a while. I wonder if you're satisfied with the filtration. :)
@zo2ahy thank you for the suggestion, I will work on make a video soon.
@@handymanschoolhi handyman I'm just curious if you've made another video about this I don't want to have to look through all of them but I am checking out your Channel as I really enjoy these type of things to learn about for some reason even though I will probably never need to use most of them
Did you install the shutoff after the filter system?
@@josephhealy6401 yes
I want to install this system but my pre-plumbing has a drain pipe connecting directing into the water supply line, what am i supposed to do with the drain line?
If I understood correctly, you are saying your drain pipe is very close to the supply line . If that’s the case , see if you can find a spot near by the main line , doesn’t have to be very close to the main valve.
David I am just curious so did you ever finish following through with this and how easy was it for you given that the other line you said was close to the one you needed to deal with ?
@gardensofthegods I was able to install the system no issues. The third pipe (drain pipe) I simply cut it and left it. I did by a cap for it but it was the wrong size. I've left it open with no issues
Can this be installed outside. I am in Southern California.
I don’t know but I think you might have rust problem and weather will damage plastic top .
Maybe put something over the plastic top like another thick plastic top that could be a piece of thick plastic you buy like in a dollar store or Walmart and then carve out drill out a hole in it and protect it with duct tape where the hole is ?
That was not a review, that was an installation.
I agree
The description of the video clearly states installation. It says nothing about review.
