18:17 That is the button from Ford to turn the built-in cargo lights in the back on or off. If you pressed it and they did nothing, then most likely Coachmen disabled that as part of the RV upfitting process so it's probably useless now.
I just love these point A to point B vans. I'll never set foot on an air plane so this is the way to sight see / stop for a night / hit the road / visits friends & fam/ hit the road. the bathroom is only for that occasion when it's 30 miles to a gas station to pee and you've filled up on soda. I can really see myself sitting back there watching TV while my husband is up front driving. I just with it had suitcase storage.
We have a Coachman Nova 20C and love it! We do camp in it and love the versatility of it. Right now we are in the category of “camp to travel” and it is perfect. If we ever get in the category of “travel to camp” then we might look for something bigger. Great review, thank you! PS. I think the nova has more storage we have the big fridge but also have a pull out pantry next to the wardrobe and we have a little cabinet in the entry way that is great for storing bug spray, sun screen, clothesline, picnic table stuff etc.
Thanks Matt & Becky for showing us this beautiful van. In addition to going out of town in this, I can drive it to my grandsons' baseball tournaments where they have games back-to-back... we can chill out in the van in between games. Or, if I go to a concert/event and traffic leaving the arena is horrible, I can relax in the van, eat, watch a show/movie, and then head home once the traffic has died down. As Becky said, the possibilities are endless.
Hi Matt and Becky! My dislikes are Becky I like what you about the table part to the lagoon doesn’t match the countertop. The swivel seat looks hard to swivel. That’s all my dislikes my likes are the storage the screen door. The refrigerator with a freezer. I like the shade you up around in the back that Becky put with the power cords. Very nice! I think this is a very nice van. Thank you Matt and Becky for showing this! Great job Matt and Becky.
Are you sure this is the best selling B van? I thought it was the Winnebago Travato. It’s my understanding that the Ford Transit AWD van has been in short supply so very few dealers have these Beyonds available. I think Becky alluded to that.
When Becky explained what use the truck design was made for it opened up my mind. Its perfect. I'm not in that income bracket, but brovo. And i so wish. 😅
Since Matt always points out the cornering lights on the Sprinter, I'll point out that the Transit does it too. When you're going slow and turn the wheel at night, those bottom corner lights come on. Which is a bit unsettling at first when you're not expecting it. The sumo springs might help. The Transit suspension is fine, but it's really soft. Sort of wallows along. The overhead 360 camera is great, I don't think I can buy a car without it after having it.
Just give it time. The class B buying bonanza is pretty much over and these ridiculous prices will start coming down in the coming months. I'm planning on purchasing a class B in the next 2-3 years, but I'm waiting for inventories to build up which will lead to much better pricing.
Well, note that this is the Beyond with the upgraded Lithium battery system. That DOES add cost. Coachmen also sells the Beyond with regular old AGM batteries AFAIK.
I really like this travel van! Only ONE thing i would like to change, have a separate shower, toilet/sink instead of a wet bath!😏 I would probably use the cabinet, next to the fridge, as a pantry instead of a wardrobe. When it is time to decide which B (travel) van i want, i will let Becky know. Thanks, Matt, Thanks, Becky!!😊
Two points. I have the Ford 360 on my newer F-150 and it is absolutely amazing. This van is about three feet longer than my truck so I cannot imagine buying a van of this size without it. If it is like my truck, you can also turn on 360 view manually when you are in drive and not just reverse, which is also helpful. You can also manually cycle through all the exterior cameras one at a time as well. Second point. Why on earth did they not add three-point harnesses to the outside seating positions in the rear. There are columns right there they could have attached them to. It is 2023 for crying out loud. This loophole that RV manufacturers get to jump through by creating seating positions that are sideways and/or do not have three-point seatbelts needs to be closed. None of this would even be legal passenger seating in the EU and this is one instance where the EU has it right.
I love this specific model and layout. My dream Class B is the Airstream 24 GT, which starts around $234K. This starting around $217 gives me a little hope and $163K, while still outside my price range, gives me a lot of hope.
If they are not going to make the bathroom usable, why put it in?? for emergencies?? you can stop at a gas station. I hate a toilet right in front of the kitchen area. Hope you guys reviewed some B's with a bath in the back.
2023 Mavrick AWD Ford Transite Van ( Chinook) would love to see you do that one i have seen Nick Schmidt do one but your more through then any other person thanks
I looked at a Beyond. Good quality, much better than a Coachmen Nova but certainly not in the same class as a Pleasure Way. The Lithionics lithium system is high end unlike the systems installed on many other B vans. Design? Good, but like the Airstream Rangeline (also promoted as a "high end" B Van), there are irritating compromises to cut costs. So, is it worth the price? That's the problem. I think that it is FAR more expensive than its actual value.
I really love it but like you said it's more of a travel slash maybe over night thing. If you have kids it would be hard to camp in but with just a day trip or long drive with kids it would be nice because you have the TV and kids love that you could stop and make something to eat instead of eating at a restaurant and just with kids no stopping for bathroom breaks everytime you turn around. But if you are by yourself or a companion it may be nice for a night. If it were just a little wider and easier to walk around I could probably do it. But it is one of the best ones I have seen. It's beautiful inside and out and I love the sliding door that has the screen I have not seen that on any other one very nice. Anyway great video and I hope you made your plane.
My husband and I camped for 6 weeks out west in a van and LOVED it. I have been sorry ever since we traded it. The B+ and C we have had since then have paled in comparison to the van.
That's more a factor of being on the 350/3500 series, not the manufacturer. It's literally the van version of a full ton dually and all manufacturers make them.
If I were to consider a B RV, my purpose would to provide essentials for stop and view and not camping. (Maybe emergency overnight at a camp facility) Mostly staying at resorts and hotels when traveling domestically.

I really like the Beyond with Li3 system. It's the best mass production class B out right now, but it definitely needs larger tanks. It should have at least 40 gal fresh, 25 gal gray, 15 gal black. Other than that, it's a fairly solid unit, but the MSRP of $217k is utterly absurd and, even the sale price too high. The MOST anyone should pay for this van is $150k, only if it's loaded with all the options.
@@thestooges333 The Nova is cheap because the Promaster is not a desirable chassis. I wish a B van RV maker would make the Transit with the pop top. I know it’s available on the Winnebago Ecko but that’s not a true B.
