Do you know which ads welcome me as soon as I clicked this video? Australian govt trying to entice us to immigrate to their Country. The irony is that I had the chance to go there back in college days but my intuition tells me that if I can have good life out there, why can't I have in my own Country. So I declined the offer. I never regretted. But there are still many ignorant who think their life will be better off automatically once they are abroad esp. the West and they need re-education in this regard. America wouldn't be like this today had there not been immigrants. To punish America in simple way is not to sent the brightest mind there just to be exploited for their vested interest. I'm a Chinese. I still think that the BBC's nature documentary is the best in the world. But the news about China made me angry. I know exactly how absurd the BBC’s reports on China are, so much so that the rest of its news makes me unable to believe it. Of course this is not the BBC's fault. It is a common fault of the entire Western media based on ideological opposition and Cold War mentality.

The BBC is actually giving you more fans. Think about it. A Brit reads this story and thinks, "Well, I'm going to RUclips to watch this Jason Guy video." Then he looks at it and instantly finds out the fact that BBC doesn't wear underpants and immediately subscribes to you lol
I like your turn of phrase. I am a good example, I was not into watching much of RUclips videos. By chance I clicked one of his videos and here was someone with his wife who was hilarious, showing life in rural China. He was even celebrating the opening of Burger King in his city. I was hooked.

Western propaganda are so overboard to dehumanize China, I'm just sad anyone can't possibly make a nuanced discourse about it in good faith. Reality is that China is not that extremely different than so many other countries including West too. They did a lot of good things for their people but also they made a plenty of mistakes too, no one can truly be perfect. I've seen and read some reports and articles from local Chinese media about serious issues in China and things are just more nuanced and transparent than mere "Chinese Government are suppressing its people and media" and they're not afraid to bring it into light. Of course there are many instances when media or authority body would go into length to cover-up, censor or even suppress certain individual or group over certain issues (this typically happens at local or regional level) but so do other countries too, including ours here. In fact, Chinese people in general, even some officials and legal groups too are aware of and will never stay silent against such matter.
I'm an ex-pat in China, I recorded a vlog during the start of the pandemic from my POV in Hangzhou (500 miles from Wuhan). BBC's Panorama got in touch and said they wanted to arrange an interview for the upcoming series of documentaries on the Coronavirus in China. They called to prepare and asked me how barbaric lockdown conditions were. When I told them how great the response was here and showed them my videos they didn't call again! The Manchester Evening News published things I didn't say, The Guardian were the only ones to publish a fairly accurate account of their interview with me (albeit with an inaccurate headline). BBC News is clickbait for the disillusioned.

What's even funnier is that the editor for bbc messed up on trying to distort and edit video footage of a cotton farm in xinjiang, they didnt cut out the tractors that were shown in the video, which makes western media's propaganda to be very clumsily and lazily edited. It’s actually great that they write articles about you guys. I'm a Chinese. I still think that the BBC's nature documentary is the best in the world. But the news about China made me angry. I know exactly how absurd the BBC’s reports on China are, so much so that the rest of its news makes me unable to believe it. Of course this is not the BBC's fault. It is a common fault of the entire Western media based on ideological opposition and Cold War mentality.

I like your turn of phrase. I am a good example, I was not into watching much of RUclips videos. By chance I clicked one of his videos and here was someone with his wife who was hilarious, showing life in rural China. He was even celebrating the opening of Burger King in his city. I was hooked.

Western propaganda are so overboard to dehumanize China, I'm just sad anyone can't possibly make a nuanced discourse about it in good faith. Reality is that China is not that extremely different than so many other countries including West too. They did a lot of good things for their people but also they made a plenty of mistakes too, no one can truly be perfect. I've seen and read some reports and articles from local Chinese media about serious issues in China and things are just more nuanced and transparent than mere "Chinese Government are suppressing its people and media" and they're not afraid to bring it into light. Of course there are many instances when media or authority body would go into length to cover-up, censor or even suppress certain individual or group over certain issues (this typically happens at local or regional level) but so do other countries too, including ours here. In fact, Chinese people in general, even some officials and legal groups too are aware of and will never stay silent against such matter.
And no Western nation can be labeled as perfect at all!

I'm an ex-pat in China, I recorded a vlog during the start of the pandemic from my POV in Hangzhou (500 miles from Wuhan). BBC's Panorama got in touch and said they wanted to arrange an interview for the upcoming series of documentaries on the Coronavirus in China. They called to prepare and asked me how barbaric lockdown conditions were. When I told them how great the response was here and showed them my videos they didn't call again! The Manchester Evening News published things I didn't say, The Guardian were the only ones to publish a fairly accurate account of their interview with me (albeit with an inaccurate headline). BBC News is clickbait for the disillusioned.

What's even funnier is that the editor for bbc messed up on trying to distort and edit video footage of a cotton farm in xinjiang, they didnt cut out the tractors that were shown in the video, which makes western media's propaganda to be very clumsily and lazily edited. It’s actually great that they write articles about you guys. Readers will get curious about what your channels are about and they will find out that the British Bullshit company is a propaganda outlet and the the report from you guys are real. So the more outrageous they write the more people will check out your channels. It’s all backfiring on them. Also it gives you the opportunity to make an easy well made video.
BBC is actually providing them a chance for "name dropping" them. For those who have been brainwashed completely by BBC, they won't believe anything these Chinese vloggers say anyway, with or without their smearing articles. But, for those people who don't trust them compeletly, I guess that means most of their audience actually, people will be curious about what Chinese vloggers say. And if anyone searched and watched their videos, it's quite easy see who's lying, with solid proofs and reasoning. So BBC is actually shoting themself in the foot here. Chinese vloggers will have more chance to be exposed to the world, and BBC's lies will be even harder to spread. And by doing this, they actually offended a lot of foreigners who live in China, and they will create more videos against their lies. When there's supression, there's resist. Stupid BBC

@@walterkooy1307 Actually I found it pretty funny. Now BBC has been caught with real proof of how they intentially demonize China. I watched another video talking about this, and the vlogger actually showed the public another internet snapshot website, which is way more wellknown than the one Jason used, and actually you can compare the two different versions with actually date it was taken. They switched the image back, just after Jason released this video exposing them. And now the proof will be there for a long time haha. I'm waiting for them to be grilled. Let the world see how despicable and full of lies they are
