  • With Ridley Scott's Napoleon film around the corner. Myself and a few reenactors with the help of others made this fun promo for the film and as well as help promote one of my local theaters.

    Notice how Bonaparte allowed his troops to indulge in snacks and drinks to keep morale up, but conciously abstained himself. Always sharp on the eve of battle, always ready for what's coming. Keen and wise leadership, you can see it by the way his loyal troops saluted his majesty on entering the theatre.

    I absolutely love how the Cuirassier just walks in at the end of the column.
    So pompous, upbeat and elegant, when submitting the tickets, and finding a seat.
    As is fitting.
    He also Kinda feel like dad of the whole group.

      i believe that it is a carabiner, considering that cuirassiers have more blue/gray ish uniforms, but carabiners are more gold and white ish

      Gotta love how everyone becomes a historian when such a film appears. Meanwhile the real experts flip out because in the film Napoleon fires at pyramids and slaps his wife once? Wow, such an outrageous crime against history! It's almost like this wasn't meant to be a documentary.

    As this occured, the Duke of Wellington, King of Prussia, Tsar of Russia, and Emperor of Austria were off to watch Waterloo at home as a way to celebrate the final defeat of Napoleon. The King of Sweden, of Spain, Naples, Denmark and Bavaria were also invited but declined to go for this 7th outing in a row, electing instead to remain home separately.

    They were shortly executed starved and frozen to death a mere 30 minutes into the film with Napoleon himself being exiled to Portland, Oregon forced to watch The Star Wars Sequels every day until his escape and was later recaptured shortly after and sent to the the slums of San Francisco where he ultimately succumbed to a fentanyl laced baguette who he bought it from the local transvestite mutant known as the “blank”.
