Open carry has been lawful for many years, without training.
How is this bad? It isn't.
I'm in my 60's, avid hunter, never had a firearm incident or accident in my life.
People are crying and companies who are losing money due to the new law do not change the law.

there you go, you had it all YOUR LIFE, that doesn't mean that everyone with a few hundred in their pocket has had the same as you.
no those businesses, do not change the law. elected politicians that are willing to tell you what you want to hear and are willing to sell their vote to anyone who "donates to their campaign" changes the law. dong away with a permit, fine, but allowing someone to walk in and buy a weapon with out any training just plain stupid. i am positive you would hand over a gun to someone if they didnt know how to use it properly. so requiring training and knowledge on how to use and store the weapon properly is just common sense. you know the very thing the republican politicians like to claim they have so much of

@@christianwolf68 I did it, so can anyone else.
Training is not required, why train.
I can watch a youtube video about shooting safely and say I got trained.
It's basically the same thing that's done in concealed carry class, except you have to listen to stories about the instructors past.

Since you have no knowledge about guns, please don't handle one.

Florida had the highest violent attacks involving guns in January 2023, it accounted for 12% of all gun related attacks in the U.S. After the June 2023 permit less carry law went into effect, most cities in Florida saw a 8%-20% decrease in violent attacks, bringing the average down nearly 5%. California has the strictest gun laws out of all 50 states, yet is ranked top of the list in terms of mass shootings reported. Criminals do not follow laws, they do not get their guns legally. Making it harder for law abiding citizens to obtain one to protect themselves will just make crime rate sky rocket.
