- The impressive Dalaschlucht Gorge and the lovely Majingsee lake in Leukerbad are popular destinations for hikers in this beautiful area of Switzerland.
Near the village is the thermal spring footbridge through the Dala gorge of Leukerbad. The 600 meter long footbridge built above the river bed leads through the imposing Dala Gorge and provides interesting facts about thermal water. The jetty is an imposing steel construction with a suspension bridge and steel stairs. The power of the water is revealed at the latest at the 35 meter high waterfall and the glacier mills.
The lovely Majingsee lake is a popular destination and ideal for a picnic with the whole family. Combine a trip to Lake Majing with a hike through the Dala Gorge. This hike is only recommended for people with a head for heights as the path through the gorge is steep and takes about two hours. The Majingsee can also only be reached by road from Leukerbad.

Hoi Dina! Yes, it's a quite thrilling walk but the small gorge is really nice! Unfortunately the weather was not very good the time i was there and it was not possible to go to more places around Leukerbad. But even with bad weather you can go swimming and relaxing in the thermal water 😉 Vile Dank für's luege und ich wünsche Dir au no e ganz e schöni Wuche in Indonesie 🙏💟🇮🇩

this walkway was so impressive it took some skill I'm sure to install this on the cliff
Leukerbad Dalaschlucht Majingsee .I felt the force of the water that created the sheer gorge (^^♪ The scaffolding along the cliffs did a good job!

Superbe endroit ! La structure qui chevauche le canyon est impressionnante et c’est vraiment beau ! 🤩 Les cascades d’eau sont magnifiques ainsi que les montagnes environnantes.
