- Well, part 3 is finally here! Episode 1 of the Rails of Highland Valley series has been finished! Episode 2 is currently in the filming process, but I haven't sent any lines yet. Well, hope you enjoy this part!

Awesome! lol I love larry's voice it's hilarious! Also great job on the commentary for the most part, except for near the beginning the music seemed a bit too loud I couldn't quite understand, but like I said other than that, extraordinary job

no offense cotton belt but i can't hear some of the episodes characters just saying
None taken, because I'm aware of that problem too. Very early in the series, I wasn't sure how to adjust the game volume to clearly hear the characters speaking, but in the middle of Season 1, I figured it out.

When i was railfanning yesterday...The only 2 trains i saw were lead by trash 9s and 1 hour after the two came, None of them came. You know why? Because a stupid Trash 9 leading NS 234 Was having engine troubles up north!

Ok, here’s my opinion, I think you need to go more in depth about Dave and Larry because you can’t just be build bad, you have be influenced by something or made fun of, or jealous, that’s just what I think
I do plan to expand on their characters at some point.
Alright, I maybe very late considering this IS the first episode. But I have to list some criticisms because you still use some of these tactics in later episodes.
PLOT: This episode's plot is mostly all over the place and is loosely held together. Its a nice concept, just executed poorly. One of the main issues the plot has is how near the third act Dave and Larry become the big bads seemingly out of nowhere, this isn't how you introduce your antagonists. You give them an episode (which you did albeit too late) to themselves and then build up from there. What you could have done is have nick (idk how to spell his name) be the conflict character as he whines about not having the right of way and tries to pull off something dangerous and gets scolded for it. Then he learns his lesson about the importance of priority trains.
VOICE ACTING: Please... don't use AIs to voice act, it SUCCS the life out of everything. Especially when lines need a certain tone. Also when you do hire voice actors, make sure they have experience voice acting. But I will hold back here, this is the first episode and it can't be pixel perfect.
MUSIC: Possibly the worst offender of this show is how loud the music booms and how you can barely hear anyone. SA2 had this problem, but at least they had subtitles if you couldn't hear what the characters said. Try to tone down the music at least a little.
MISC: The episode length goes on for WAAAAAY too long and this is a repeating factor throughout this series and I know exactly why: Shots that take too long, and characters talking about nothing that brings the plot to a halt. This is why you had to make 3 parts. Your average TTTE episode takes on average 4 mins to complete, there is the First act which sets everything up, the second act which has the conflict take place, and the third and final act where everything comes to a close. You also seem to have a lot of inconsistencies when it comes to faces. Some still shots engines have them and others don't. Its also ok to have faces when trains are moving in the background which can make scenes more unique instead of having a static shot with an engine talking.
CONCLUSION: This is the first episode and most times they aren't perfect. However I hope that what I said will help you when making further episodes. Remember, your plots have potential and you should use it. Final Rating: 1 star.
