Finally found this fantastic sighting on rewind last night and what an absolute treat it is to see it again. Thank you NamibiaCam. Such an impressive entrance by these two beautiful mares. They are indeed magnificent animals.
They did make another dramatic appearance yesterday morning as well and cleared the watering hole of oryx, impressive how everyone “stepped aside” for the ladies to drink.
Don't ask me why, but it makes my day, whenever I see a bird, or any birds, flying in and perching themselves on the dead tree trunk laying there, just beyond the watering hole here. This sighting in particular was the most birds I've seen landing on it, as of yet. Usually only one, maybe two, tho rare, will do so. Not this time, yay lol
Acabo de descubrir estos videos maravillosos. Qué bonitas son las yeguas, me parece que al menos una está gestando un bebé . Se las ve muy compenetradas y cautelosas observando alrededor por si acecha algun peligro. Muchas gracias ♥️♥️♥️♥️👏👏
why do the birds suddenly disappear so quickly #0:41 love the content this channel produces. its beautiful. e: looks like its a product of image/video compression, i just didnt expect it to be that aggressive and for the birds to like completely disappear. not even a blob or smear or anything of them sitting on the ground
Yes, I remember that. I was watching it live. You could hear their thundering hooves for 30 seconds before they came into view. Then they ran around the hole a few times with wild abandon. It was glorious!! It happened on January 6, at 8:26 am. I was hoping this video was a replay of that. But this one wasn't nearly as exciting.
There are two feral or free-roaming horses that visit the waterhole at times. These are from one of the surrounding farms and have entered the Park as there are no boundary fences.

From what I've seen, it's a concrete installment that either is manually filled or fills with rainfall (if you're referring to the watering hole) and the various animals walking around it repeatedly over time created trenches surrounding the structure for water to accumulate into larger puddles naturally

"I'll race you to the watering hole!" 🐎🐎
They are so dang happy! I love their free spirits. Thanks for sharing this jewel.

❤❤❤ them! I could watch this 100 times! 😍
Any sighting of these beautiful horses since April, 2022?
We haven't seen them yet after April in the area
Some animal in background is like "I am out of here"
There are only about 100 of these Namib Horses remaining and their future is in peril.
saved it to favorite folder.
i wish i was them rn
Yes thank goodness no dramatic music. They look healthy
Beautiful animals! In the US, feral horses are called mustangs. Do they have a special name in Namibia?
HI, they are just call Wild horses over here. These are from one of the surrounding farms and have entered the Park as there are no boundary fences.
Those look like well bred Quarter horses. I was expecting Onigar (real wild horses/equine)
Looks like something spook the horses, there are many lodges that way people go for walks or in bikes around

That is AWESOME !!!!
Thelma and Louise's grand entrance before this was so stunning as well. But I can't remember the date.

Ok . There are wild horses and ponies different places in the USA . I didn’t think there would be any there .
Thank you so much !
Are these descended from.the German calvalry horses ?
No they belonged to a farm until two years ago.

Estos caballos pertenecerán a alguna cuadra o granja,no? Están muy cuidados.
Until two years ago they were, now they are feral
Are these wild horses or local people?
They're definitely horses.
Any more proof needed that horses love to run and were built to run?
Happy and healthy..😙
Horses!
Any one know how this came to exist? I can see that it's human made, but is it a bore, or what? How does it sometimes overflow like this?

I like horses very much... This desert deserves to be greened !
J'aime beaucoup les chevaux ... Ce désert mérite d'être reverdit !
But all the animals here belong in the dessert. 😟
@@jannetteberends8730 All these animals would like this desert to be fixed... They would prefer to have trees, leaves to eat, fruit, shade and grass 🌱
@@93VIDEO Yes; but at this stage it's about rain fall. You can't have a fixed desert without regular rain.
😳🐎🐎 in the desert? 🤔 Are they native to the area? If not, how did they come to be there? They look healthy & spirited 🥰.
theyre not native. theyre feral. probably the decendants of imported horses that escaped their old owners

@@emmiannon1266 Thanks for replying!
Def not native, and I think one of the mods from during the live stream said they come from a nearby farm or private land, something like that.
@@emmiannon1266 Somebody above said they were farm owned until a coupla years ago. But they're brushed and their coats are glossy, so I wonder ..
" Wild wild Horses " 👅
Horst?
?🤔
