That looks quality and a fantastic setting but wow….very expensive…and noticed that most of the restaurants that you’ve visited so far the prices are a lot higher than the UK….even with exchange rates….maybe got to compare it to London prices as NY is a big city. No wonder Martin did a runner to the train station asap….and left you the bill!! Great vdo as usual guys!!

Wow, 123 dollars for an englsh and a sandwich, you have got to be a sandwich short of a picnic to go there!
Absolutely Keith... $123.00 - £91.00... For one Sausage Patty... Two Fried Eggs... Half a dozen New Potatoes... One slice of Bread, with Butter, and Jam... And five small Rashes of Bacon... with Coffee for Lee's Breakfast... Then a Pastrami Sandwich with Fries, and three Bloody Mary's for Martin's Breakfast... It's defiantly not cheap that's for sure. And anyone visiting New York for the first time... will see these outrageous prices, and wonder how many thousands of pounds it's going to cost them... to provide three square meals a day for a family of four... who maybe holidaying in the U.S. for a two week stay... We always hear stories of huge portions at cheap prices in the States (All you can eat buffets)... But so far I've seen nothing of the sort... Most meals have been small portions, at very high prices... and in most instances, extremely poor quality food... I was really hoping for so much more on this U.S. tour... Sadly it looks like the food so far in America... really isn't anything to write home about. I'm now wondering how much Las Vegas is going to cost for their food... They'll probably need to remortgage the house to be able to afford anything to eat there. It's disappointing.
I knew it was expensive in NYC and that menu proves it.

Looked good love they do there bacon crispy, if I remember there sausage is good to, n the rye bread will keep you regular 🤣🤣😊👍

How much?? Whoahh, Lee... Your "date" was expensive! $68 for Martin's breakfast as opposed to $26 for yours. And OMW.....over $30 in taxes and tip. That's silly money.
Now we're talking, now we're talking - that's diner food - the only thing wrong with that breakfast, is that I'm not eating it! 10 out of 10 from me.👍👍

Back on the right track by the looks of it. We do eat with our eyes as well as our mouths and that did look bloody good. When I saw the linen nap cloth, I did think you would be onto a winner. I always use that as a first impressions barometer 👍

Usually two choices of breakfast sausage, links or patties. Those patties looked divine. I'd love to make a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich with those. Also that toast looked like it was just baked in the back. That's a 10 breakfast.

I had been in Empire Diner for breakfast and lunch several times and a couple of times for dinner as well. Not once I, or my companions, had the slightest disappointment with regards to their food and service. Considering the high end real estate cost, their prices seem very reasonable to me.
Excellent video....I guess having a hangover is all part and parcel of the holiday experience! The food looked to be of a high standard, using good quality ingredients and the bill reflected that, minus of course those whopping big Bloody Mary drinks. Bacon nice and crispy and the little potatoes looked appetising too! 10+ for sure. Seeing Owen Wison was an added bonus

Any good establishment in NYC is going to have $15+ plates. Same goes for Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco or any other big city. Out here in Cali the economy has made everything expensive, something the Biden administration was passed down from that soon-to-be jailed convict Trump. #FtheAltRightandTrumpkins

The morning after the night before. This video should have been called “The hangover cure”. That’s two solids 9 out of ten from me. Fresh, clean, well presented food. Proper breakfast and sandwich.
