That kind of situation is messed up, during the short you see her becoming more and more annoyed, no one help her except for her own mother (who surely already lived the same situation)
I do not critic women that love cooking and doing house chores but like it cost nothing to help them

As an AP French student, I love these films! This one was so well done with the style and all the background detail. Watching films like this really help me get a grasp on French language and culture. Thank you for making a channel of these films so they're accessible for students like me! My French teacher even showed my class "In Between" from this channel to my class, at my request. I hope the wonderful artists at Gobelins keep up the amazing work!

Merci! J'ai eu le sourire dès le début et pendant tout le temps. De la petite qui, de son jeune âge, frétille à l'ado dégoulinant en passant par le père au patriarcat flasque et à la mère pluri utile et multi utilisée dans le rôle que sa propre mère, la mamie trop salée lui a enseigné!! Le tout mitonné par une jolie et joyeuse musique! BRAVO!

Dad is tired from work, and isn't really creating problems for her. Little girl is a little girl, too young to help in an actually helpful way. Grandma is trying her best. Grandpa and teenage son are pieces of shit though they are only causing problems for her without trying to help
