These characters and their relationships are a lot more complex than I expected. I love depth
2:26 - the old geezer is the best option for her. She marries a lord, her child that would be a bastard, will become an heir to the estate (since he doesn't have any). So within few shorts years (or even months - considering the age of the suitor), she can be a young rich widow and her child - a lord or lady of an estate.

Great reaction. You are blushing at all the right scenes😂. Now, as for episode 6 ending, they are both wrong. He could have been clearer in explaining why no kids and she could have just told him she knows what he was doing to ensure she doesn't get pregnant. But and a very big BUT, Daphne would have still married Simon even if he had told her could have kids but just didn't want them. Remember, she was going to marry Burbrook, who tried to attack her so her family wouldn't be ruined. So, of course, she would have married Simon for the same reason. She is the one who came to him and said she would be ruined if he didn't marry her. She is the one who said they were to be married. Simon was willing to die, ending the Hastings line, and Daphne wouldn't be ruined if he was dead.

All very true, miscommunication/ no communication is my least favourite trope. So really Daphne was going to marry Simon no matter what so put herself in this situation (one she doesn’t like), and it seems Simon was going to stick to his no baby thing… but communication will fix everything
so on the topic of the dance cards, there is a certain number of dances that is "proper." I think typically at the first ball you dance at together it would be one, maybe two. When you're courting, i think like 2 or 3. Any more than that would be scandalous if you aren't married.

the show has received some minor backlash for a scene in season 1 and it's brushing over of race in the same season, but at this point most people in Canada, the US and the UK have no issue with the show. There hasn't been any more scenes like the one I mentioned and they've taken more time with Queen Charlotte to dive into the history of the world. I live in canada and most people I know watch bridgerton and love it. Idk what this warning is about, there are tons of reactors who have done bridgerton on their channels. I'm sure she's aware she can't show yitties on youtube.

@@Gonzalo_Almendra I’m aware to not show too much on RUclips and I know there’s some controversy around certain topics explored but I believe there’s only that issue in season one (I haven’t seen anything past season one yet so I can’t comment on it).
