My fragile heart breaks for them but I loved this season
Anthony "I am a gentleman" sniffs Kate* is so unserious but did I like watching it.
sidenote: Eloise meeting Theo UNCHAPERONED put them both in real danger including her other sisters. if anything her hanging out with 'radicals' is mild compared to meeting up with Theo tbh. that's why LW added it there.
I love this version of Anthony
The "I am a gentleman" line should be a drinking game!
And I know society rules are wonky in this show but ruining Eloise ruins Colin as well and that bugged me since Pen is in love with him. In the books she wasn't so scandalous but they amp up the drama in this show where it seems impossible the Queen & Ton would ever trust the Bridgerton name in the future.

The country dance is one of my favorite moments in this show! Since Anthony in s1 was so awful, I was surprised how quickly these two beautiful idiots turned me around despite the messy drama written against them. I never read the books but I know they did the ladies dirty. Mary was more than wallpaper and Edwina wasn't blind, she was barely in it and was not serious about Anthony. On the other hand, I liked that they changed it from a forced marriage like s1 and instead allowed them more time to built up tension and chemistry. Jonny and Simone sold me on them as a couple despite the storyline - and they get better!
Yesss, I didn’t like Anthony all that much in the first season but he grew on me this time round. Can’t wait to see more of them in season 3
