  • If your middle back is constantly tight & sore, on one or both side, and massage doesn’t seem to help for long, here’s why… and the way to fix it once and for all. Most people think that the cause of mid back pain the muscles (and it can be in some cases); But if you have a chronically sore mid back, that keeps coming back, there’s a good chance that you have restricted mid back joints. Stuck joints in this area can not only cause middle back pain, but they can cause tight mid back muscles too.
To fix mid back pain once and for all, you need to do two things: Avoid the positions that jam the spinal joints, and mobilise those thoracic joints. In this video I show you 9 common causes of mid back pain. And here's the video showing how to release those stuck joints...

Thankyou. It's always good to be reminded to straighten up, twist and stretch, especially before bed! 🙏

Thank you! I tilt to the side because of thoracolumbar scoliosis. Any suggestions for safe stretching would be appreciated.

This is the kind of help i need. You almost need an assistant to watch you 24/7 for a month to study your movement patterns. It's hard to study yourself at all times.
For sitting on the ball: is that helpful for si joint dysfunction? Could it cause more back pain if you have anterior pevlic tilt?
    For the sleeping.
I found sleeping on my back can irritate my lower back more, even with knees up, because of my si joint dysfunction and the ql being angry just from that as it is. On my side, i noticed i had a rounded back. How can i make sure my back stays straight while sleeping? Could i wear a back brace that's not too tight, so it forces my back to stay straight while sleeping? Would a pillow behind my back help?

Another excellent video! This is one of my biggest problems due to a long term hospital stay which had me in a bad back position for many months. These exercises are excellent for loosening up my tight back muscles. Thank you.

Yes, you'd definitely need them after a long-term hospital stay that's for sure

Kee-cats don't have to worry about proper side posture. Their backs are *always* as limber as can be. 😊

I have mild Scheuermann's kyphosis. I find i have one segment of my spine that gets very sore. (Lower thoracic) I find sitting for long periods makes my back sore. I am 52, male and also have osteoporosis. In the past few years it has really affected my life negatively.

Do spinal decompression/therapy machines (where you lie in bed and a machine pulls you apart) provide a (temporary) relief for this stuck joints issue? I understand that preventatively avoiding the positions is more important, but I'm curious about whether such machines can replace the rotation/extension exercises to relieve the soreness.
