I'm a mid-handicapper too, majority of the advice I get from better players is for us to just get it on the green by any means. We too often try flag hunting with a wedge from 60-100 yards or get "too cute" with our chips instead of making sure we're putting on the next stroke. A lot of times that chunk 3-ft into more rough or thin over the green leads to 2-3 extra strokes. That's a score DESTROYER.
Quay!!! Awesome round bro.. loving the content! You have a good swing, tempo is great!! The only thing I would add is I am wiling to BET MONEY you can shave at least 9 strokes off your game by doing the following - CLUB UP!! (On your approach shots)
this was a learning experience. your swing is good, and like most of us it comes down to consistency, understanding our distance with each club and of course, PUTTING, remember the importance of two putt.
Love the content and match play format! Im huge fan of match play and its a whole different mindset versus stroke play at least for me. If youre ever in the Chicagoland area, or just want to chat golf would love to chat or to even have a match against ya. Keep the content rolling! And Hit’em straight!

I 100% agree. Too many times you get caught up trying to do it the way the pros do. That’s a recipe for disaster.. I’m slowly learning lol
